I bought the transport chair in January. I have only had it for 6 months. I use it to transport my 120 pound mother upstairs to her bedroom. Today coming down the stairs the handle came off out of nowhere causing my mom to fall. No signs of any wear or tear or loose bolts. My mom is 74 years old and only has 1 leg. I would like to replace her transporter with one that works. It's only 6 months old.

Been taking care of my elderly aunt and her mobility has greatly diminished over the last couple months. 100% dependent on a walker now and can no longer do stairs. She even has trouble just stepping up onto the doctor's office scale. Took this right out of the box and used it right then and there. Very sturdy. The only thing I would say, I'm going to have to relocate the back folding handles lower down on the back of the chair. They are just too "high up" for me (being a shorter lady myself) so it's a little awkward. Other than that, I'm glad I purchased this stair chair, it's really come in handy last few days.

I bought this for my invalid mother, who was unable to navigate stairs any longer.
The features and quality compare to ones I used as a firefighter/EMT. Not quite as heavily constructed but we had no issues carrying a 135 lb person.

I bought this EMS stair chair for camping. I have a camping van with double doors on the side. With 3 Elderly women 2 in front and 1 in back we were able to get my 39yr old son in and out of the van with ease. With the front extended bars in front made it feel a lot lighter It was harder with his wheel chair. Our next adventure is the beach. Last time I took him to the beach the wheels on his wheelchair got full of sand and had to replace all the wheels. This EMS chair is a wonder chair don't know why I didn't see this before. Would never go without it again.

I shouldn't have ever bought this, handles dont lock in place up top of chair so when lifting up or down the the stairs its crazy to use, so flimsy it could break easy my mom weighs 96 pounds and if she weighed more we couldn't use it.
Plastic is cheap on seat belts are fraying on the ends already and we only used it 2 times worst thing ever

It took a couple of tries to move her easily but once we got the hang of it is wonderful. She could not go up and down steps and has frequent doctor appointments. This makes it safer for her and much easier for the two of us to get her in and out of the house.

We used this for the first time to take my 90 year old mother up and down the stairs at our home, which has many stairs from the street to the front door. It worked wonderfully! My mom only weights around 100 pounds, but my niece and sister were able to carry her up the stairs easily.
