Do away with your space-consuming dumbbells and consolidate to the Stamina Versa-Bell II adjustable dumbbell. Offering a series of weight settings from 5 to 25 pounds (in 2.5-pound increments), the Versa-Bell II units do the work of nine sets of dumbbells in one, so you don't need to dedicate more than a few feet of space to your workout area. Each innovative Versa-Bell II dumbbell is outfitted with a single 5-pound handle connected to a dial mechanism. As you move the dial, the handle latches on to a different combination of steel weight plates, with a window display showing which weight setting you've chosen. Dial it down to 10 pounds and you'll lift only a single set of plates, but dial it up to 25 pounds and you'll get the whole combination. It's the easiest way possible to save space and money without sacrificing quality. Each dumbbell includes a durable, heavy-duty nylon weight tray but is also compatible with Stamina's SPS Versa-Bell dumbbell stand (sold separately).

But if you intend to make daily changes to the weight (for different exercises, for example), you might find yourself getting slightly annoyed at having to slightly wiggle & jiggle the weights and knobs around to get them to fit onto the bar.
also, the lightwieght plastic tray tends to get wedged to the weights, so don't in a million years imagine yourself "plugging in" the dumbell, flicking a switch, and then picking it up (with less weight or more weight on it) in one smooth quick fashion... You need two hands and at least 10~15 seconds to get anything changed on these.
Of course there are better systems with smoother and quicker adjustments
but for the value I am pleased with my set.
Like others have said you have to wiggle it a bit to get the bar to slide in to add or subtract weight.
Have to turn selectors a complete 360 degrees to add/subtract 2.5 lbs. Other systems don't require a full turn and are thus quicker to make adjustments, but it's not a huge deal. Have to push pause during video workouts because I take longer to adjust my weights than those using select techs.
Have used for 2 months now and I like them.
In any case, these are good adjustable weights. They are a little bulky, but I haven't really seen any that aren't. These are not the weights for you if you are looking to change weights very quickly. It will take a little while to get used to which way to turn the dials and seeing how much weights is on each end. It's a fairly minor annoyance.
Getting used to them and like them well enough for occasional light workout at home when can't make it to the gym. Saves time and space over the old free weight set.
Correction - each dumbbell is adjustable to 5 lbs
