With that being said, the book has a ton of information for those already involved in comics either professionally or as a hobby. If you are beginner, I would recommend you get this book only if you have already read some of the basic books out there, such as "How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way".
He's an icon, and a deserved one.
This book, of itself, is great - it offers insight and the presentation is wonderful. The quality of the paper is top rate and it's a fine looking book.
I do have an issue with this autographed volume, however and that is that the SIGNATURE of Mr.Stan Lee is NOT on the book itself. The signature is on a bookplate which has been placed in the beginning of this book.
For an autograph collector or an autographed book collector - that is a significant point. I do collect autographed books and likely would not have purchased this volume if I'd have known that the autograph itself was on a book plate.
Also, the autograph isn't on the "numbered" page. These two points might not mean anything to someone who is not a collector, but they certainly change the value of the book.
My three stars are only because of those points. In my opinion, precise information should have been given in the description of this edition - indicating a book plate autograph.
If you're considering purchasing this book, please keep that in mind.
