Sammy Lagucci is a lovable loser who just wants to do right by his daughter. When he finds out the gangsters he runs with are planning to take him out, he enters the Witness Protection program to protect himself and his family. Going from The Big Apple to a small town in Wisconsin gets him down at first, but on a dare he does an impromptu stand-up comedy routine and finds he has a knack for it. His act goes viral, and what should be a blessing turns into a curse when his newfound fame gets the attention of the mob.

This was a very funny movie without being raunchy and over the top. I think a lot of people like the humor that is just not in good taste now days. For me this was more of a low key comedy that has not gained enough attention.
Only watched 5 minutes. I have to figure out how to get Video Angle on my TV, I am so sick of vulgarity. People who use vulgarity and think it's funny lack imagination.
Take SISTER ACT and subtract the humor and add (what used to be) dirty words. The influence of BREAKING BAD (which was excellent) might explain why this one was made in the first place. The nail-in-the-coffin was.... SPOILER ALERT ! ... killing at the end. A mobster is still a mobster, so what? We felt sorry for the actors having to be joyous hearing the really stupid bad jokes. We kept waiting for a funny joke, and instead got a sucker punch.
