Product Description

MUST HAVE CANOPY FRAME! FRAME NOT INCLUDED The Standing Room 100 Hanging Tent is the Best Family Cabin Camping Tent and is an excellent shelter with vertical walls that anyone can stand straight up in. If you are tall and want a tent with headroom, this tent has 8.5 feet of clearance at the center, and the vertical walls allow use of the full floor space The tent and the gazebo come separately and nearly any 10'x10' (straight leg) canopy or gazebo with a vaulted ceiling can be used as a cover and the support for this tent. The tent by itself comes with a solid waterproof top that is covered and sheltered from rain and sun by the gazebo or 10'x10' canopy tent roof insuring a weather proof environment . Other features include two Power Cord outlets that velcro shut as well as four storage pouches located conveniently around the walls of the tent. Two doors (Four doors on XL model) allow easy access to and from and allow two or more tents to be "stacked" together. The screened doors and windows all zip shut to keep rain and bugs out, and the tent has a tub style floor, so it is completely enclosed. The tent itself hangs from the canopy by hooks at the four corners. It is a great family tent with room in the 10' X 10' model for two queen sized air mattresses or air beds and 5 sleepers. Another nice feature is the simplicity and ease of setting it up. It sets up in an instant so that even the youngest campers can jump in and help and be effective. Easily set up in under 10 minutes. Set up and broke down at home to test and only took me 8 minutes each by myself. Used it for one three day camping trip and it was awesome. Roomiest tent I have ever owned! I was lakeside and it was quite windy and tent was fine. I may buy another!

Crazy easy to set up and tons of room inside. We had a queen raised air mattress a twin size cot and a twin air mattress and still had room for our bags and a path to go through the tent. The only "issue" per say were the tie backs for the doors and windows. The toggles are not on elastic fabric. You have to roll the windows and doors just so to get the toggles to fasten. Easy fix was a few rubber hair bands. The hook in the top center was perfect for a small halogen flashlight that we hung with a string. GREAT PRODUCT!! Can't wait to go camping to use it again.

Our new Hanging Room 100 tents came the other day (we ordered 2), but we waited till today to put them up on account of dangerously high winds. The company must have read and responded to EVERY complaint they had about their previous manufacturing issues. The zippers are strong and the windows open from the inside. The fabric is somewhat heavier than our other tents (which is good) and it is very well constructed. All the seams are double sewn and quite sturdy. There are ties for all the window/door flaps, 4 pouches around the walls for your little stuff like glasses etc. fabric loops all around inside at the ceiling (for clothesline?), a center loop for hanging your light (or fan), a velcro closed vent for electric cords and extra flaps on the outer body for extra staking in inclement weather. I just can't believe how easy it was! I put it up by myself in just under 5 minutes! It took just as long to take it down too, and if you're like me and it rains every time you go camping, there's a real bonus in being under the canopy for take down! We have extra side walls for our canopies and I think this could make late fall/winter camping (extra wind block/insulation) a real possibility as well. A word of caution to beginners- ALWAYS STAKE YOUR CANOPY! I'm so happy with this tent, I think I will be camping more than ever now! They also have a facebook page with all sorts of cool camping ideas too!

Have not taken it out to camp in yet, but did set it up to see if one man can set it up. One man can, it took me about 15 minutes. We camp fairly often and our old tent was about wore out and a little too small. This one is quite large and has plenty of room in it. We can now camp in luxury without having to put half our stuff outside the tent. What I received does not match the picture but is a close resemblance of it. It has 2 large entryways that open to the side, 2 large windows and plenty of straps to connect it to your frame. It does not come with a matching cover, at least mine did not. The outside is coyote tan and the floor is olive drab green. The floor is a big plus for camping since it will stop snakes from cuddling up next you while you sleep. (seen that too many times)
While this is not military quality, by any means, it does remind me of some of the military tents that I did use while on active duty in the 90's.
I'll field test this very soon and update the review. For right now I'll leave it at 3 stars as I'm unsure of how it will stand up over time.
Pros: Very large cabin area
Very large entryways, front and back.
Very large windows for ventilation
Easy for one man to put up
Attached floor that seems like it would be water resistant.
Cons: No included matching cover
No stakes included
Very thin and seemingly weak ties for the frame legs
OK we took it out for the weekend. Set up on site was less than 5 minutes on very rocky terrain, so I had a hard time with staking it down. We had high gusting winds that shook the tent very well but it stayed put. I was surprised that the ties for the frame legs help up. We also had a short cloud burst and we stayed nice and dry.
Since it survived a Texas torture test, I'll give it 5 stars even though I think it should have come with a matching cover.

I am so excited! I just bought this tent again preparing for this upcoming camping season. Why did I give it a second chance after such a horrible first time experience with broken zippers and clips that kept unhooking from the frame? The seller sent me an email saying they apologized for the issues I and several others had and they did everything they could to make sure they built a quality tent. I originally bought the tent last June-ish and returned it less than a month later. By October, the seller responded to my comments saying they think they fixed our issues. They even offered me a discount if I wanted to re-purchase it again right away (though I didn't take advantage of it in time).

So I gave them a second chance and I am IMPRESSED. All the positive reviews since then have been genuine. I immediately set the tent up in my back yard and had no problems (even with the help of two two-year old girls and a one-eyed dog). Once set up, I tested each and every zipper, yanked on each hook, and then let the girls have at the doors. An hour later they had moved a table, two chairs, stuffed animals, and various assorted rocks into the cavernous space. I think this tent more than satisfies the durability test. Take down was just as easy as set up once you remember to remove the rocks stuffed into the storage pockets.

Some almost random comments, there is a hook hanging inside from the center of the roof. Bring a step ladder if you want to hang a lantern from it or attach a rope to it before you raise the canopy. Campsites with low hanging obstacles may be a challenge since this tent is so high. I use an aluminum frame canopy I got from Costco, which may have slightly larger than normal pole width.
