    Amazon.com

The Stanley 200-Foot Open Reel Fiberglass Long Tape Rule has a 200-foot blade length and a 1/2-inch blade width. The tape is constructed from an increased number of fiberglass strands, which reduces stretch for better measurement accuracy. Its PVC construction makes the tape easy to wind and clean. The open reel tape rule features easy-to-read, two-sided printing with fractional/decimal formats for the most accurate measurements. Its rubber grip is designed for comfortable use, and its high-visibility color makes it easy to find on the job site.

2.0 out of 5 stars Durable, but starts at 2 feet?
By Stephen on May 19, 2020
Well made product, except for the fact that the tape starts with the first foot increment being 2ft. See attached image for 1 foot of measuring and how this tape reads 2ft at what should be the 1ft.

Very easy to read, but you have to remember to subtract 1 foot from whatever you measure or your numbers will be wrong. First time I used it, I was at the wheel end and my wife was holding the loose end, so I didn't realize it was off. When we went to build our fence, I was baffled when everything turned out to be 1ft shorter than I had originally measured. I guess I got a bad tape?

Leaving 2 stars overall since it's technically usable, but extremely inconvenient and frustrating to have to subtract 1 from every measurement you take. (I know, doesn't seem like a big deal, but when you're taking a bunch at a time, it gets very annoying and forgetting to do it only once throws everything off.)
