The design is simple. It looks great, and works even better.
I fill the thermos with 500g of coffee every morning before work and drink it throughout the day. My after-lunch-pick-me-up is always piping hot. I did not intend for this to be my go-to travel mug, but this design is really the perfect solution: Unlike many travel mugs it actually keeps coffee warm (I blame the cheap plastic lids in most instances) yet it is not big and clumsy like most thermoses.
This design is light enough for hiking and winter camping. I take a few packets of instant hot chocolate and mix them in the cups throughout the day. The plastic lid tends to lose heat quickly, especially when it is divided into the two cups.
I have dropped the thermos a few times, with as many dings and dents. The minor damage does not really show on the silver design. The white design is more apt to displaying minor marks and bruises. It would take quite a force to do any real damage to this thing, though. The cups are also quite small (Think WWII cup o' joe size). I think this is a necessary evil to keep the sleek design, and is only a minor inconvenience resulting in having to fill the cup twice for a good dose of hot chocolate.
I would buy this again in a heartbeat, and I have (as Christmas gifts).
Anyway, It's perfect to use to share a drink with someone..or no one :P. It's only 16 oz though, so it's not much between two people. It's not as convenient for taking to a class in which you don't have a lot of arm space since you will be using this to pour and not drinking directly from, but I do take it to the library. This wasn't really designed for that purpose though. I bought it in camo, which I loveee and I don't usually buy green things. Would have bought it in the all white color (since I'm a Star Wars fan and it looks the bottle a storm trooper would use if they took coffee breaks) but I tend to destroy my things. (Can anyone vouch for its resistance to color change?)
Probably a good idea to buy the recommended cleaning brush for this.

Bought for my wife, who makes hot tea into this and we go deep into the snowy backcountry, whip this thing out and both have hot tea hours after it was made. Read morePublished on August 26, 2014 by ClayEE
It's a cool bottle but it does not keep my coffee warm for more than three hours. Would not recommend to anyone looking to keep drinks warm for an entire shift at work.Published on March 25, 2014 by Benjamin Patton
