I have a mom that loves Star Wars so I bought this to make a cake topper. It took two tries to get it right.Here’s a few tips:1) make the chocolate almost fill the mold (too think it will crack2) let it cool slowly in the fridge and then warm to room temp before removing it from the mold

Talk about the mother of all impulse buys. I picked this up on a whim, and have found it to be a fun little item for making Millennium-Falcon-shaped items of all types. It has a fine amount of detail while not being so detailed that your molded object gets all busted up when you remove it from the mold.

By far the best use I have found for this tray is for all types of chocolate. Making ice cubes is okay, but you can't see much detail in the semitransparent finished product. But melt some chocolate into this thing, and the resulting product is finely detailed and beautiful to behold. The only drawback is the fact that your finished product is very thick, and difficult to bite. But whatever! Chocolate Millennium Falcon!

works great, absolutely would *not* buy in a combo with Carbonite HS ice mold, because dude he's like my dad or something and that's just wrong. Look at that face, he's clearly miserable. I'll bet he was spitting up Carbonite for years after that. And Chewie's totally not a vegetarian. He just couldn't eat that Porg in front of his little buddy. He's gonna have to get those chairs reupholstered because all that damage they did to the Falcon is not okay. Oh, and I'm super happy the ice mold has the old dish, not the new rectangular dish. I'll bet you 25 cents cash money Unkar Plutt is responsible for that shitty dish and it might be better somehow--but it's just not cooler. I'm going to go pour one out for the round dish. You do the same.

It was quite funny when I purchased these because I really wanted them for myself, but of course Christmas. Gotta buy my friends and family gifts. Well it just so happens that my friend had bought this exact same product for me and I must say it's fantastic! Of course I first made ice with it. A little hard, but that's mainly because my freeze is small and it's a bit of an awkward space to try and place this carefully in them, but it worked! I felt so awesome having the millennium falcon in my cup of water. I haven't tried to make chocolate molds out of it though, however my friend has and they came out great and delicious!

I have a bunch of these kinds of trays (why have boring cubed ice when you can have fun ice?!) and this is one of the best. The shape is nice and bulky so you get a lot of ice out of one piece and there aren't many breaking points. The two small tips on the front of the Millennium Falcon can snap off the ice if you are too rough/excited when extracting it. Also, since the tray is so malleable, it can be difficult to fill and get to the freezer. I've taken to just accepting it'll be messy (it's just water) so I'll fill the tray as best I can, take it to the freezer, and top off the molds once the tray is in and settled.

I paid more money to buy the Kotobukiya brand only to find it was not an authentic product. On the picture on left is the Jollylife I bought. On the right is what I received, pretty much the same low grade product which came without any labels or packaging instructions, I have no idea where this is even made. Except on the sticker it reads Kotobukiya, but if you look at the detail on the picture description you can clearly tell that the details done on the actual photo is not what I received. If you want authentic Kotobukiya mold look somewhere else.

I have a total of 4 different designs of silicone ice cube trays and this one is by far the best! There are a few things that make these so good, first is the size, these make HUGE cubes, they last way longer than standard ice cubes. Second, these are so shallow they actually freeze faster than standard ice cubes as well. Lastly, this tray is very sturdy, the silicone is thicker than other trays and the bottom actually has nice squared off corners that allow you to actually put this tray on top of others and it stays nice and flat. Overall these are the best combinations of size, freeze time and sturdiness. I'd buy these again, heck I might even buy another to make more of these cubes.

Che dire! Lo stampo è di ottima qualità ed inoltre pesa molto rispetto ad uno stampo in silicone normale.
Sul retro vi è la nota di non utilizzarlo sotto alte temperature indicando un massimo di 230°...farò la prova per un piccolo dolce che cucina a soli 180°. La confezione è molto carina: contiene un cartoncino in tema Star Wars ovviamente e sul retro tutte le indicazioni per l'uso e la conservazione, il tutto impacchettato con una plastica trasparente.
Avevo accarezzato l'idea di regalare lo stampo direttamente per come si è presentato!
