Jordan Sparks singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl was HANDS DOWN the best performance of the song in history. Never has it been sung with such great blended harmonics. This is not your typical version. They took liberties and deviated from the usual chord progressions to make the song dynamic. Great dissonance & resolution combinations. At the end of the song, you will get chills down your spine. Every time. Watch the actual Super Bowl performance on YouTube and you will see what I mean!

I was looking for a 'classic/traditional' (not tooo redone, pop rock, etc.) version of the Star Spangled Banner for my daughter to listen to and came across this one. It fits the bill completely, and the vocals are amazing. I'm not familiar with Jordin Sparks, but we loved this version of the National Anthem.

This song gave me chills when I heard it at Super Bowl. Jordin is such a talented singer. If you have any doubts, listen to the sample, you will be blown away. Another note: This song file is 320Kbps, as opposed to iTunes which is 128K, same price, and laden with DRM.
