Features: Most episodes come with options to play deleted scenes, to play with audio commentary by various people and the creators and to play with a text commentary. The episodes on the menu show the mission date (starting at 4/16/2151) and the original airing date of the episode (starting at 9/26/2001).
The menus have an awesome background video montage with all the characters and diagrams of ships and a lot more cool stuff.
It came in about a week or two by the Royal Mail from England via air. (to US)

Fittingly, the first episode I watched was the season two opener "Shockwave, Part II". Then for the next episode "Carbon Creek" I listened to the interesting commentary track.
Aside from the tight packaging that will require care not to break the multiple disc-holder hinges, it is very easy to recommend this set.
Lots of hours of entrainment. Not as family friendly as other star treks sadly done to boost ratings. But it still keeps to the star trek franchise.
If it were not for the poor package, this item would have rated a full 5 star. Love seeing this crew again and without the commericals. Good stories. Great acting. In my opinion, more refreshing at this time than watching the original series, but that is probably because I have watched the original series so many times, I cannot remember how many.
Love Scott Bakula - is great to watch him along with the current NCIS New Orleans series. It is so interesting to watch him on one and then go watch the other and compare his acting, the difference in characters and see all the similaries in each character altho they are "light years" away for each other.
Would definitely buy again and definitely recommend even with such a rotton package.
UPDATING ABOVE REVIEW FROM A FOUR STAR TO A THREE STAR NOW THAT HAVE FINISHED WATCHING ALL DVDS.
HAD NEVER SEEN THIS SHOW BEFORE GETTING THIS SET. THE FIRST SEASON (WHICH THE ABOVE REVIEW WAS BASED UPON, WAS REALLY GOOD. THE SECOND AND FOURTH ARE BETTER FORGOTTEN; THE WRITING AND PRODUCING OF THE SHOW WERE DEPLOYABLE. THE THIRD SEASON WAS ONLY SALVAGED BY THE XINDI AND THE EXPANSE. WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE SEEN MORE OF THIS STORY EXPLORED IN SEASON FOUR. DID NOT LIKE THE COMPLETION IN THE LAST SIX OR SO EPISODES AT ALL. AT A MATTER OF FACT, THERE WERE EPISODES IN SEASON TWO AND FOUR THAT I COULD NEVER SIT THRU THE WHOLE EPISODE AT ALL AS THE WRITING AND PRODUCING WAS OF SUCH A LOW QUALITY. THE THREE REMAINING STARS FOR THIS SET ARE TOTALLY BASED ON THE GREAT ACTING AND FOR THE GOOD QUALITY OF THE DVDS. AS SAID EARLIER, THE PACKAGING WAS A TOTAL RIPOFF, AND AS FOR FIRING THE WRITERS AT THE END OF THE FIRST SEASON, THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN KEPT ON UNTIL THE END. WITH THE POOR JUDGEMENT OF THE PRODUCERS BEING FIRED BY PARAMOUNT INSTEAD. THIS PREMISE AT THE CHANCE OF DEVELOPING INTO A SEVEN YEAR SERIES AS OTHERS HAD AND PROBABLY WOULD HAVE GIVEN THE QUALITY OF THE ACTORS ---- HAD IT HAD TOTALLY NEW AND BETTER PRODUCERS AND DIRECTORS. WOULD ONLY RECOMMEND THIS SET NOW WITH THE RESERVATIONS OF WATCHING ONLY THE FIRST AND THIRD SEASONS. FORGET THE SECOND AND FOURTH AS NOT WORTH THE TIME.
ORIGINALLY, PARAMOUNT HAD THE RIGHT CONCEPT BUT CHOSE THE WRONG PRODUCERS AND CREATORS. THE CHANGE IN PARAMOUNT PERSONNEL DURING THE FINAL SEASON CERTAINELY LED TO THE DEATH OF THE SERIES; ALONG WITH THE NEW RUNNER FOR THE FOURTH SEASON. THOSE TWO HAPPENINGS BROUGHT ON A SURE ENDING TO AN OTHERWISE PROMISING SERIES.
AS SAID EARLIER, FOUND THE PHYSICAL ASPECT OF THE DVD'S TO BE GREAT; NO SKIPPING OR OTHERWISE DETERMENTIAL ASPECTS. THE PACKAGING WAS CERTAINLY BELOW PAR FOR THE QUALITY OF THE DVDS. EVEN NOW I CANNOT GET ALL CDS IN PLACE AND TO HOLD AND THE WHOLE PACKAGE IS SO DISGUSTING AS TO CAUSE ME TO BUY NEW SLEEVES TO PUT THE DVDS IN FOR PROTECTION.
