Being a lifelong Trekkie, I was immediately drawn to this perfume by the name alone, But,I am also sensitive to some perfumes. Some will even trigger migraines! So I read other reviews for this perfume and was reassured by the descriptions of the fragrance. It is a light and very appealing fragance and I have had no problems wearing it. Having many Trekkie friends, it is a real kick to have them smell my perfume and then tell them it is Pon Farr! Also the packaging is great. The bottle has a neat Star Trek look with the IDIC(I think!) insignia and there are sparkles in the perfume itself. The box has T'Pring in the foreground and Spock in the background. If you have seen the TOS episode Amok Time you know all about T'Pring, pon farr, and all. If you're not a Trekkie this is still a very nice perfume.

It is a clever way to wear something Trek-like without blatantly announcing to the rest of the world that what you are wearing is actually Star Trek. Gotten compliments on it, and when giving the answer, "Pon Farr," it is satisfying to see either the confused expressions of those who have no idea what that means, but also to see the understanding of a secret joke when someone's expression tells you that they completely understand what you're saying. However, it is quite strongly scented - so use it lightly. Do not overwhelm not only everyone else, but yourself. You may end up with a bit of a headache. ~ T

So it's not a toy, but I still gave it five stars in all categories. This perfume smells very feminine without being overwhelming, and the microscopic pieces of glitter mixed in are a really cute touch. Plus, the shape of the lid is very clever :) I definitely recommend this product.
