Synopsis:

    4K transfer is awesome. Atmos is fantastic. Loved all these movies as I am a Trek fan from long ago. However did not care for the story line and plot of the 3rd movie. 3rd movie plot was a "been there, done that" kinda thing. Villians are very important and though Edris Ilba is a very fine actor, he didn't have much to work with here. I mean how many baddies are they gonna dredge up from the past to strike vengeance on Starfleet? Lets see if they can come up with a more original plot and story next time. And yes it just struck me that all the "new" Star Treks are basically or should I say "exactly" the same plot and story. Star Trek- Bad guy comes from the past to reek vengeance on the Federation for destroying his family. Star Trek-Into Darkness, bad guy is raised from past hybernation seeking vengeance on Federation for guess what, that's right killing most of his crew or as he calls them "family" And the 3rd movie is about, you guessed it, a bad guy from the past, who used to be a Federation captain seeking revenge on the Federation for what they did to him and his crew. Wow. The Feds are just not nice people are they.
