First we have "Living Witness", a great episode that has mystery, action, good drama, and a great message to convey in it. They never did do a Voyager episode based in the mirror universe, but in many ways, this one isn't all that different for this one tells of an evil voyager crew. This was a great fun episode with a good moral point to it as well. I don't want to give too much away so I'll just leave it at that. (Four stars)

Next we have "Demon", an episode that actually has an even better plot in it than "Living Witness", but it is a little slow moving at first though unlike the previous episode. Voyager is running out of fuel and needs a desperate source of deterium. The only nearby planet with deterium is a demon-class planet, the deadliest kind to humans and most organic life forms. But desperate times call for desperate measures. So Janeway sends down a small landing party (Kim and Paris) to mine the deterium. But when they return, they have been somehow changed by the planet and Voyager is unable to leave due to a mysterious pool of "silver-blood" that has taken hold of the ship. This one has a great plot, a lot of mystery, some good comical moments in it as well as some good character moments, some good suspense towards the end, and like the last episode on here it has a good moral message to convey. (Four stars)

Highly recommended!

'The Gift' was a sad episode of Voyager for me.It was the show where Kes left the Voyager crew to evolve into an energy being. But the talented Jennifer Lien (Kes) was ousted in a unseemly manner and I loved her character. At least she had the dignity to be given the oust without being killed off and it was sensitively handled. Her comeback,however...I'll get to that in another review.'Day Of Honor' focuses on B'Lanna's angst about her Klingon heritage and the ensueing dilema's.It's a great character setup and these two together will make for an excellent VHS tape for Star Trek-Voyager fans.

Gift:
This is one of my favorite episodes even though I'm a bit disappointed they took Kes off. Her telepathic powers get stronger til she can't control them anymore. Kes decides it would be better for Voyager if she left. I think they handled her departure very well even though I don't understand why they had to take her off. Kes gives Voyager a gift. I will not say what it is but it's touching!

This episode also focuses on 7 of 9. You find out more about her human side. What her human name was (Anika Hansen) If I spelled that wrong forgive me and a little bit about her human family. She was assimilated at a early age. Her human side asserts itself & she is not too happy that her connection to the collective has been severed.
You see her becoming more human not just by her appearance but other ways as well.

Day of Honor:
I think this episode is worth watching just for the Paris and Torres parts. There is another story about an alien vessel that asks Voyager for food and medicine but it's not very interesting.

Torres is having a bad day & it doesn't get any better. The lowpoint is when she has to dump the warp core. (Leaking dangerous particles)
Tom and B'Elanna go after the core but they have to escape from their shuttlecraft. They think they are going to die since they are running low on oxygen. B'Elanna finally tells Tom she loves him. This is the best part of this episode!! So if you like Tom and B'Elanna this is a good episode to watch!! All in all two very good episodes you don't want to miss!!!!

If you knew nothing about Voyager and wanted to learn more, you couldn't pick two better episodes than "Remember" and "Sacred Ground." This is science fiction at its absolute best!

I'm not ashamed to admit it - I burst out sobbing after watching "Sacred Ground." It is one of the most profoundly spiritual programs in the history of televison! If you have both a passion for science and spirituality - make sure you take the time to watch this episode! The insights one gains could change your life!

"Remember" is also deeply moving, and equally mind boggling! The writers and producers stuck their collective neck s out on creating this rather unique episode. It is incredibly political and brave! If you have a passion for history and social justice, then I assure you - you will never forget this amazing story as long as you live!

This is what great storytelling is all about - reflecting one's society back to the listener in a new and profound way!
