Got the Chimaera Star Destroyer for $49. Fairly detailed model. The tip of the star destroyer is slightly curved up and not straight though. This is constructed of plastic and painted over by factory. Still is one of the most detailed figures on the market. Box it comes in is very flimsy.

Haven’t had a chance to use it in game play yet, but as a model it’s simply beautiful! I currently have this on display on my shelf. Can’t wait to engage the rebels with this ship!
Update 1/29/21; Originally, I started purchasing these ships as a collection only, as they’re awesomely detailed and beautiful iconic ships. By the time I got this ship, I had just started getting into the game too. I’ve since purchased another of these ships, as well as others in the Armada game and repainted it as an ISD, deployed it as a Cymoon Class Ship and gained two additional Mando Fighters.
ISD’s were a scarcity in 2019-2020, so buying a second Chimaera and repainting it, wasn’t unheard of, especially since it was practically the same price or, in most cases, extremely cheaper than regular ISD’s you could find online. The bonus side was getting a squadron of Mandalorian Gauntlet Fighters. If you already have an ISD in your fleet, purchasing a Chimaera Class ISD is well worth it, as there are three base cards, leaving two spares, with Kuat Class on one side and Cymoon Class on the other. There are also three Kuat Class Ship cards and three Cymoon Class Ship cards. Grand Admiral Thrawn is included as the Commander of the Chimaera on a mini sized card. FFG has since released a Card Collection Pack, that you should get, which includes this card, as well as 259 other updated cards in regular size.
All in all, a beautiful ship to own either as just a collectible in box, out of box, or as part of your Imperial Fleet in Armada games. Received in excellent condition and ahead of scheduled delivery. I’d highly recommend anyone interested in this ship or Armada, to purchase it.
