Dass Jennir finds a companion and is stranded on a foreign planet being hunted not only by Darth Vader but an equally cunning hitman! Also, the crew of the Uhmele are hunting down Jennir to help him!

This is the fifth story arc in the Dark Times series collecting issues 18-22 of the series. The art here by Douglas Wheatley looks good with a more realistic tone like the other issues and the writing by Randy Stradley works well and keeps you guessing with the story. There wasn't a whole lot of Vader in this book, despite the cover, and this TPB has virtually no extras whatsoever so don't get it for anything but the story. Overall, it's a fun addition to the Dark Times series and makes you want to read the next arc, too!

Randy Stradley continues the Dark Times series with volume 5 Out of the Wilderness. Jedi Dass Jennir and his new lady friend Ember are traveling across the galaxy to help her start a new life. Only to find themselves stranded on a desert planet and being hunted by an assassin. Although after the assassin breaks into an imperial ship to gather info, he also is being hunted, by Vader himself. Bomo Greenbark and the crew of the Uhumele make an appearance as they attempt to find they're old friend Dass, they are following Jennirs path picking up bread crumbs anyway they can. The story is well done once again and the art seems to be better than before. I give this volume 4.5/5 stars.

This is, in my own opinion, one of the better storylines Dark Horse is putting out right now, The characters are very well fleshed out and I hope that they find some peace, but Vader probably won't allow them that.

decent part of the story...which has been entertaining from a SW fan perspective but nothing more, nothing less in this sales product!
