This is a decent book for young readers who may or may not be familiar with the many adventures of Obi-Wan Kenobi. The book encompasses his adventures based on the films and on Expanded Universe tales. All in all, a quick and interesting read. However, some of the "adventures" come right out of the movies, with the dialogue written verbatim; that was a bit tedious, but was only apparent during the events of the Clone Wars.

It's a little pricey seeing how it is really a quick read, but I thought it interesting how there is an interspersed point of view that includes Luke Skywalker.

This is one of the greatest Star Wars Novels out there. Following the life of Obi-Wan from childhood to death to his journey beyond is an exciting adventure, from Obi-Wan's presence through lukes training to his battle against Vader. The story also answers alot of questions from the movies like, "how does Luke get another lightsaber in Return of the Jedi when Vader cuts his hand off in the Empire Strikes Back". Any Star Wars fan would not be disappointed in this book. A must read.

It's a bit short for the price you pay. Also, there isn't all that much original material. It's basically the movies and some novels from Obi-Wan Kenobi's point of view and doesn't go into much detail on any one area. It's more of a brief summation of each movie and novel that's included in this storyline.

Some of the book does have quotes from the movie, but it goes into really good detail about the Star Wars saga. It does focus on most of what we know, but it expands and does have new stories in it. If you like Obi-Wan or Star Wars, try it out.

A few new insights from Obi-Wan & Luke but mostly just a retelling of what's already known from the movies & books. But still a interesting read if your really into Star Wars but would have been nice for a little more.

Not worth biuying. All it did was repeat scenes from the movies, such a rich character and so much could have been done. You get better insight from clone wars than from this book. Don't waste your money.

I was disappointed that there wasn't more exploration into Kenobi's training with Quigon and disclosing how he learned how to become one with the force after he died...i also think that there wasnt enough exploration into Bens state of mind in sections of the book that covered events that took place in the movies.
