As a collector, I should have done my research before purchasing seven of these troopers. No wonder they were sold for a low price...they're cheap! This figure is inferior to the super-articulated clone troopers...and is painted in poor quality. By the Legacy 501st trooper if you want to build a collection of quality clones. I'm very disappointed in this item. Do not buy it.

The Tactical Ops Clone Trooper is a fun army builder which you can recreate the Jedi temple raid scene in which Darth Vader exterminated the Jedi. I own 10 of these loose and they look pretty good lined up behind Anakin. They are not without flaws however. They have muddy feet even though the Jedi temple was not muddy. The paint is not as well defined as I would have liked. Some of them looked a tad sloppy. Also, his leg gets ackwardly turned to the side while in the bubble. Overall, the Tactical Ops clone looks good in numbers but I still perfer the Jedi Temple Assault Battlepack versions (available at K-Mart) to these. They have a much nicer paint job and helmet.

had I known prior that this figure was just a re-paint of the tank driver figure I would NOT have purchased it. movement is restricted to only a few pointless positions. Only real pro to this figure is the paintjob is decent. If you are looking for a mint in box collectable then yes his is a good figure at a good price. However for the diorama I am constructing this clone has to become a permanent causality :(

The Tactical Ops is a very requested and the final clone figure for Revenge of the Sith. Number 65 marks the last of these stormtrooper relatives that we can find on a basic card. Good luck with that. The Tactical Ops seems in general to be an improvement over the Jedi Temple figures with a removable helmet and a much better paint job but there are a couple negatives:

Originally wer were shown a Super Articulated incredibly painted prototype at the Comic Con. They dropped the ball with the produced figure looking nothing at all like the original proto

The accessories are a bit unexciting(just a blaster, base and helmet)

The leg gets inwardly bent unlike the Tank Gunner (which is the same mold)

The articulation, again is not balljointed in the arms.

Overall a cool army builder but not even one of the best.

Okay, this figure is a basic repaint of the AT Tank Driver figure, the same articulation, the same removeable helmet. The blue coloring gives the figure the menacing and legendary look of the 501st Legion, or Vaders Legion. These are the Clone Troopers that aided Vader in the slaughter of the Jedi at the Temple on Corousant and also led tactical ops in various other systems during the early years of the empire. A must have for anyone, especially collectors.
