By my 11 year old son: While he does fall over a lot, he is still a very good droid with a big personality. He follows commands really well and is really fun to play with. I even take him on walks with me, although, I have to watch out for cracks in the sidewalk that he might trip on. He works best on a flat floor. His design is really cool, too. I definitely recommend him because he's like a dog, but actually a robot. He is like a friend.

The first one I ordered I thought it was a joke box was opened and re-taped to cover up what was missing inside. Charging station was not in there. The head of the droid it was completely disconnected. But turn around on the new redelivery was by far A five star customer service response. Thank you so much now my son has a pet toy LOL. Seriously this kid is so happy to have his D.O

Love this thing. I play with it as much as my 7-year old and often without him. BUT, super annoying that the controller is my phone.
Like other reviews say, it falls over quite often. Whatever. It’s seriously adorable and oddly expressive for a relatively inexpensive toy. After a month we are still having fun with this.

Very difficult to drive. Constantly falls over. Definitely not a toy for kids and takes a lot of practice for an adult. I thought the controls being on your phone was cool but unless the owner of the robot has a phone, it’s actually pretty annoying. Antennas don’t stay attached and were lost within days. Again, definitely not a toy for kids

My daughter bought this for herself and is really disappointed. It falls over so easy. Not really able to play with it because of that. So now it will sit in a box on a shelf so occasionally she can look at it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Un jouet génial et un super objet de collection
Reviewed in France on July 20, 2021

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fun little Droid for Star Wars Fans
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 16, 2021
I ordered this droid, as I collected the Sphero droids, which are now discontinued. This is not to be confused with the Sphero droids, but it is definitely similar in nature, in that it is app enabled and can be controlled from your smart phone or tablet.

Compared to the sphero droids, this is much better value for money. The build quality is just as good, it comes with its own little display stand, and it has an in-built rechargeable battery, and you just need to connect the micro usb to recharge it.

The only downside to this droid, is that to use it, it must be used on flat surfaces only. It could be used on a carpet, but it will be prone to falling over frequently, so if you don't have flat surfaces, then this probably isn't going to suit you needs in using it to its full potential, although from a collectors point of view, it is definitely good value for money.

He comes with a little ball, and you can train him to follow it, or look for it. It's a fun little additional feature to utilise. Oh and if you have dogs, they may go mad and chase them around.

      Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Funktioniert auf glatten Böden, benötigt Freifläche
Reviewed in Germany on December 27, 2019
