For the A-Wing you get two very nice new unique pilots, as well as extra copies off the previously released generic Prototype Pilot and Green Squadron Pilot.
(1) Jake Farrell, a pilot skill 7 unique pilot that costs 24 points. He has a great extra action granting special ability that reads, "After you perform a focus action or are assigned a focus token, you may perform a free boos or barrel roll action."
(2) Gemmer Sojan, a pilot skill 5 unique pilot that costs 22 points. He has a very handy defensive special ability reads, "While you are at Range 1 of at least 1 Enemy ship, increase your agility by 1."
You also get two great new unique pilots for the B-Wing, and extra copies of the previously released generic Dagger Squadron Pilot and Blue Squadron Pilot.
(1) Keyan Farlander, a pilot skill 7 unique pilot that costs 29 points. He has a great stress-relieving offensive special ability that reads, "When attacking, you may remove 1 stress token to change all of your [FOCUS] result to [HIT] results.
(2) Nera Dantels, a pilot skill 5 unique pilot that costs 26 points. He has a great offensive special ability that reads, "You can perform [TORPEDO] secondary weapon attacks against enemy ships outside your firing arc."
Finally, you get seven new upgrades designed to really make the A-Wing and B-Wing shine.
(1) Kyle Katarn, a 3 point rebel only crew upgrade that reads, "After you remove a stress token from your ship, you may assign a focus token to your ship. This complements Keyan Farlander's special ability (see above) and the B-Wing/E2 upgrade (see below).
(2) Jan Ors, a 2 point rebel only crew upgrade that reads, "Once per round, when a friendly ship at range 1-3 performs a focus action or would be assigned a focus token, you may assign that ship an evade token instead)."
(3) Enhanced Scopes, a 1 point systems upgrade that reads, "During the activation phase, treat your pilot skill value as "0." This will allow higher PS ships to both move AND attack first. Rebel Aces includes TWO copies of this upgrade.
(4) Proton Rockets, a 3 point missile upgrade that lets you roll additional attack dice equal to your agility value, to a maximum of 3 additional dice. This will be very handy on an A-Wing which has 3 agility. Might also help the TIE Advanced at least a little bit since it can take this inexpensive upgrade and also has 3 agility dice (though hopefully more and better TIE Advanced upgrades are planned for the future). Rebel Aces includes TWO copies of this upgrade.
(5) Chardaan Refit, a -2 point A-Wing only upgrade. That's right it costs MINUS TWO squad points. It takes up the A-Wing missile slot, but if you weren't going to use a missile on that A-Wing anyway, it give you two points to use elsewhere in your squad. Rebel Aces includes THREE copies of this upgrade.
(6) A-Wing Test Pilot, a 0 point A-Wing only Title upgrade that lets your A-Wing take an extra elite pilot talent as long as it has a pilot skill of 2 or higher. That means if you don't have one, you get one. And if you already have one you can have two! Rebel Aces includes TWO copies of this upgrade.
(7) B-Wing/E2, a 1 point B-Wing only modification that adds a crew slot to your upgrade bar. That means a B-Wing can now take a crew member, which is sure to come in handy (for example, the Chewie crew card will make them more durable defensively, and gunner will make them even more of a force to be reckoned with offensively). Rebel Aces includes TWO copies of this upgrade.
As with all the X-Wing sets, it also includes all the tokens, dials, etc. that you need to use these new ships (though a copy of the base game is still needed to play the game).
All things considered, I think Rebel Aces adds some great new ships and upgrades for X-Wing (especially for Rebel squads). If I have one complaint it's that most of these upgrades are not usable on Imperial ships (whereas the Imperial Aces expansion included several upgrades that could also be used on Rebel ships). But, even this is not a major concern as Fantasy Flight Games seems to be paying lots of attention to keeping the game balanced, so I'm sure everything will work out well in the end.

My only complaint is that the best A-Wing pilot comes with the base A-Wing expansion. I feel like he should have come in the Rebel Aces Expansion or that the Aces expansion should have had a better pilot. Isn't that what Ace means...?
No real complaints though, just an annoyance. The game is fun and the models are awesome even if you don't play the game.
