      Does what it's supposed to, and does it pretty well! Found it useful in my situation for installing hard drives and DVD drives into my case, as that's what it is meant for I think, for the most part. I'm relying on these from now on instead of any "tool less" kit a computer case may come with in the future. My computer case had one, and when I went to install a newer hard drive and move them around, the tool-less bits fell apart and literally collapsed into a small pile of junk.... thus it was a good thing I had ordered theses screws before hand! Not much to using them either... slide the drive into it's bay, then screw them into the cage where the drive holes are exposed cleanly. Plan on buying more of these if I need them in the future.

      I decided to repair an older microATV PC that had been sitting around collecting dust. I decided to repace the PSU, Motherboard, CPU and RAM with some new parts. I also wanted to install a new Blu-ray burner, SSD and HDD. I had all these great parts and realized that I didn't have any of the screws from when I scrapped the inards of the machine. I looked all over the house for anything that might serve to attach my new parts .... No Joy.

      I looked on Amazon and found the #6-32x1/4" screws at a great price. The screws were perfect for attaching the motherboard, HDD and also for the reattaching the drive bay and the case covers. I also bought a bag of the M3-1/4" which attached the SSD and the Blu-ray burner.

      I also searched for items by Startech and found they make a lot of other small parts that make a system build go a lot easier.

      Be warned that it has a washer attached, so may not really fit into tight places like the hard drive caddy which is where I wanted to use it for but had to be creative with a little DIY solution. 4 stars are for the product and the price. Fitment is definitely user error; so I don't blame the product.

      Used these to hold a DVD/CD drive in my desktop computer. Exactly what I was looking for. They fit the standard screw holes perfectly.

      As for the screws, all of them were of high quality with smooth, slick 'threads' so there should be no catching or stripping. When tightening them past 'hand tighten' strength, they did not round out at all. Also the head of the screw flattens a bit to act as a washer.

      Excellent screws for the computer.

      I bought these expecting them to be the right size to fasten SSD disks into the disk trays on my computer. They are the right thread size, but the shaft is too long for SSD disks. It bottoms out before holding the disk snugly to the tray. I suppose a thin washer is a way to solve the problem.
