I really Enjoyed this album. Lots of fun filled (while very explicit) video game humor. Almost every line put a smirk on my face, and most of the portrayals of characters were brilliant.
Though it isn't perfect.
I think the most disappointing part of the album was Arin's rapping. While not necessarily bad, his rhythm and delivery are both on point. I found most of Danny's vocals to be much stronger, and I tended to like the songs that took a slightly more melodic approach much more.
However Arin's rapping is a lot of this album, and while it's not bad and definitely has it's place, I feel like they have the potential to create more interesting music like "Luigi's Ballad" and "Crasher-Vania" and I want to see a little more variation in their future work.
While it's definitely flawed, it's still a very fun and well written album that has a lot of love put into it, and I feel like most of their already existing fans should enjoy the writing and humor.

All the songs are really fun and enjoyable especially if you are a fan of nerd rap or game grumps. I would've rated it higher if it was longer, which is my only complaint.

This album is great for those that have listened and love NinjaSexParty. Having Arin AKA Egoraptor's rapping added each song brings in more comedy to the album. Each song is different and great at the same time. I am a fan of both NSP and Game Grumps, and I love this album.

This album lived up to every expectation I had. I listened to the album countless times all day and the combination of simply harmonizing on certain parts as well as being high energy was plain amazing. The songs just go back to back to back and before you know it you're back at the top. It's an album infused with the energy of the men who worked hard to create it and a fantastic callout to all fans of their other works. One of the few albums I've bought anytime in the recent past.

I've gotta say, even though these are all joke songs they are actually pretty catchy.
I hope they release another album in the future with longer songs.

Good job Game Grumps.

I honestly never thought that I would love a music album about video games as much as I love this! You can tell a lot of time, thought and effort went into creating this album. The music for many of the songs fits the themes of the characters/games themselves. From the ocarina playing in the background on "It's dangerous to go alone", to the keyboard/synthesizer sounds in "Sonic's Best Pal".

It IS parody, so there is a good amount of cursing and sex jokes(warning for the parents). That being said, if you were born in the eighties, owned a NES and lived for videogames--then you will cry from laughing so hard at the many inside jokes and references.

Danny's voice is truly amazing. Egoraptor's lyrics are really good(can't be easy to make an entire rap album about video games and have it actually be funny all the way through). The voice acting in "Crasher-Vania" and "Mega Marital Problems" is superb! Really top-notch! Listen to

A must own for those who love videogames and comedy.

Egoraptor and Ninja Sex Party make a surprisingly good pair. Danny and Brian have always been good at making catchy music as Ninja Sex Party, but the addition of Arin's rapping and writing makes the music on this album more robust and enjoyable. The two voices of Arin and Danny compliment each other well - hearing Arin churn out decently skillful raps while Danny layers on background harmonies is actually really cool. Plus, both Arin and Danny are accomplished in the realms of comedy and writing, and them joining forces on the lyrics gives impressive results. These guys created a better album than I had expected.

The music itself is generally techno-rock. Most of the instrumentation is comprised of synthesizers and drum machines, with a guitar occasionally interspersed to provide a harsher edge if necessary. They do occasionally delve into alternate genres, like straight rap, bursts of heavy metal, or even smooth jazz, but the techno vibe dominates the album. Still, almost every song has a distinct sound to it, and it rarely feels repetitive. Danny is very skilled at creating catchy and pleasant melodies to listen to, so the general musicality is a cut above. Standout songs include "Rap Battle: Ryu vs. Ken", "Crasher-vania", "Regretroid" and my personal favorite "The Book of Nook".

The main issue I have with most of the songs is that many of them seem to have this extra "gag" that's sort of The Official Joke Of The Song - and really it's not necessary. Ninja Sex Party also does this, and it distracts from what they're really good at. These guys are surprisingly good lyricists, and I wish they would just play the songs straight - no need for Ken to be a wuss, or for the Old Zelda Guy to be a pervert.

Let's be honest, it isn't to be taken seriously. If you like video games, Game Grumps, and good beats. This is an album for you! If you don't like any of those things or have poor humor, don't purchase this, you won't enjoy it and you'll think it's terrible. It's like if you ask someone to listen to a genre of music they'll hate...of course they'll hate it.
