Consuming, sexy, a broody sexy Alpha and twists you don't see coming with a HEA to
Finish a perfect story.
Leila and Dylan are chemistry overload together and they take us on a journey that's filled with pain, desperation and a love so consuming for each other that nothing else will stop them.
Shea on the other hand I wanted to throat punch so many times. He was manipulating, calculating and evil and would stoop to whatever means necessary to get his way especially where Leila was concerned and his hatred of Dylan Stark and his love for Leila.
I loved every word of this book and couldn't put it down! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Five years later Dylan is back in town after getting out of jail and has nothing but contempt for Leila. But Leila has never forgotten Dylan and what she lost that night. But now she has Jarred and would do anything she could to protect him, even if it costs her any chance at love.
This was a great book with some twists and turns - some I saw coming and others I didn't!
I felt so bad for Leila as she was just a pawn in Shea's life as it was apparent that he only wanted her as a possession and didn't really want her around after they got married. Leila stayed as she was worried about Jarred and what would happen to him if she wasn't there.
Dylan was interesting as it was obvious he did care about Leila but was obviously hurt that she had married Shea while he was gone after everything he did for her. He was still there for Leila when she needed him although he had to learn about a lot of hidden secrets.
I loved the conversation between Wayne and Leila towards the end of the book that revealed so much. Wayne was in such a tough spot with everything and I thought he handled it all so well!
This was a great quick read and I look forward to more from this author.- Rebecca
Five years later Dylan is back after serving time for the murder and he wants nothing to do with her but with all the secrets yet to be revealed can she change his mind?
This is a story about trying to do the right thing and have it turn out so wrong and with the twists you wonder if they will ever get their chance to be together. This was my first book by Lily Ryan but I would definitely read her future books. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.
I don’t even know where to start. This is Lily Ryan’s second book but she was completely brand new to me. Stark Me started with all the main characters in the middle of a scene that looks like it could come right out of a horror movie or murder mystery, except it’s not, it’s a romance.
I don’t really know how she did it but before the first page was finished I was already in love with Dylan Stark. I didn’t have the full picture but I knew right for the beginning that even though there were two guys in the picture, he was the one. But then the very next scene frustrated me. Like seriously! She manages to mess up her life for the next five years! And I literally screamed out loud when the next chapter fast forwarded.
It took me a while to get my read back on, but when I got back in to it, I was all in. I loved Dylan. The sexual tension was intense! Like literal fire. The things Dylan said turned me to mush and the tension had me anxiously turning pages, hoping that sense could be made of the chaos they were in. You won’t regret reading this book – it is beyond good. If I could give it six… or seven stars I would but we’ll just have to settle for five.
