I think it's stupid that we rate songs, because everyone has their own taste and needs to listen to it themselves, not go off of someone else's review. So in that case, I like this song. I like to party to it.

Ok, so...I like Nicki Minaj. I'm not proud of it. I'm actually kind of appalled at myself. But I need songs to work out to that keep me energized, and some of hers work. Does it count that I deny knowing who the artist is? I didn't think so.

I wasn't the biggest fan of some of her other works, just didn't hit my ear well, but this song as popular as it has become is one of the best. There's good beat and good bass to this song and even being the explicit version, I don't find anything to be offended at.

If you’re wondering what this has to do with starships; theoretical ships used to travel to and from stars; the answer is apparently nothing. An alien-looking girl sings about how they’re meant to “fly”, but that’s about it. This is actually a song for dance floors on planet Earth, as the flashy club music it plays upon; a mesh of European house and techno; seems to insist.

Nicki Minaj is sort of charming during the first eight bars of each verse, when it’s just her rapping, then rapping and singing, to a stripped-down version of the main melody. But the chorus sections sound like the template for a generic Lady Gaga anthem and the “higher” breaks, which distract from the flow of the song in the most annoying of ways, are a cosmic mess.

I had already heard this song before I downloaded it. Amazon gave me credit for a download, so I chose this song. Once again I do not know what your preferences are, but I am satisfied with this song.

"Starships" is a departure from Nicki Minaj's usual sound. She's been dubbed the Lady GaGa of Hip-Hop, with her outrageous looks, her surreal music videos, and constantly fluid identity. In "Starships",she sounds uncannily like Ke$ha- We R Who We R [Karaoke/Instrumental] - Single Yes, she's channeling Ke-dollar-ha. It's a lively pop song, and since it's a departure from rap, it's surprisingly good. Take flight!

to be making the Nicki Minaj seems to very high pitched and annoying voice. this is not her best song but some people seem to like it for some reason. I recommend this film to anyone who likes Nicki Minaj.

So, I downloaded this song for free off of some other website, and I just wanted to leave a review here. This is a good song from her, I like the beat, it's energetic and it makes you want to dance. I normally don't like or listen to her, because she seems so outrageous and crazy, but, I do like this song from her.
