I bought the book on a whim after flirting with the idea of opening a dessert shop-not necessarily just cupcakes. While the book is very cupcake-specific, you can use it as a guide for almost any kind of small dessert/pastry/snack shop storefront you are considering. The business plan template and writing guidelines were very thorough. This book didn't try to cushion or sugar coat the pragmatic business points.

If you are in the beginning stages of dreaming up a business, this book will definitely have you on the road to reality soon!

I would recommend this book to anyone that is thinking about going into business for themselves.

However, when I received the book there was no template for a business plan which was very dissappointing as that was the reason I ordered it in the first place as it was quite expensive at $28.
