A new take on an age old topic "Change"! A must read for entrepreneurs and creatives alike! This fictional account takes you on a vivid ride that delivers the two word punchline we all need to hear.
- Verne Harnish, Founder Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) and author of Scaling Up (Rockefeller Habits 2.0)
In a well told story, Chris brilliantly reminds us about the importance of "Ready Aim Fire" versus "Ready Fire Aim" and makes the critical point that strategizing is not a one-time event. If you've ever felt you need to redefine your business, and especially if you haven't, this book is for you!
Caryn Kopp, Chief Door Opener, co-Author of Biz Dev Done Right and Founder of Kopp Consulting's Door Opener(R) Service.
Krimitsos captures the essence of what plagues so many entrepreneurs and corporations. Change. He demonstrates how getting uncomfortable and embracing innovation are more critical than ever. Startups struggling to start and long-standing enterprises struggling to remain long-standing may find this simple but high-impact message is the catalyst they need.

Chris Krimitsos captures the essence of taking the next step and do it! If we stop moving forward we are falling behind. Change is difficult, but it is innovation and adaptation that leads to continued success.
Start Ugly is a simple message and lessons learned about putting ideas into action.
Full disclosure, Chris is a friend whom I have followed and admired. I am glad he is sharing what he has learned from his multiple ventures and success.
When I first found out that much of the book was going to be a fictitious story I was a bit surprised. But when I read the parable I knew exactly what Chris was trying to get across and I will tell you it is a really good story that you will learn from once you read it.
Because of the title of the book and the amazing cover design it now has a permanent place on my desk to keep being motivated to always plan well but get started.
