If you're looking to become a dog trainer, I would highly recommend "So You Want To Become A Dog Trainer" by Nicole Wilde. It is much more extensive and accurate.
If you want to become a dog walker, there are many sources that I've found online that offer better information.
If you want to become a pet sitter, Pet Sitting for Profit is a good one to look into.
All in all, I can't and don't recommend this book to anybody. I wish I could say that I found even one piece of new, useful information in it, but I didn't. If you're considering getting into any pet business, then look into books and websites that are geared toward that specific sector (pet sitting, dog training, etc.) so you can get a full view and understanding of what these businesses entail and whether or not its a good fit for you.
This book is just too broad as the authors attempted to give a brief preview of the available pet business opportunities out there. In keeping it brief, they leave out the most important aspects of many of these fine businesses.
