This tea isn't sweet, but not bitter either...it's perfect. It's a great deal when you get a huge overflowing box of them and they are foil wrapped so will last a long time.
Anyway, back to the tea. The flavor is just the right amount of sweet and tart, with a wonderfully fruity aftertaste that leaves you wanting more. It's sweet enough that I can drink a pot after dinner and feel fulfilled enough to skip dessert, which keeps my waistline in check, but not so sweet as to be cloying. I add a little honey because I like it best that way, but it's still great without any added sweetener. This tea is delightful hot or iced, and my toddler likes it as much as fruit juice, so this is a less sugary alternative for him. This give me an easy way to keep us hydrated when plain water is tiresome, and we get whatever benefits the herbs bestow, if any. This tea is Kosher, caffeine free and obviously contains no animal products.
My only issue with the ingredients is I have no idea where the raspberry flavor comes from. The ingredients list "raspberry flavor," not simply raspberries or raspberry leaves, so I'm hoping it's not an artificial flavor.Read more ›
One thing you have to be careful of when buying these teabags online is how they price them - make sure you are calculating on a per bag price. This one, at 10.8 cents per bag, was a HUGE steal over the second best prices of 14 - 17 cents per bag.
Ordered this for the family (not everyone likes green tea in my house)so that
people would drink more tea. It is a mix of several different black and green teas in a tea bag. Everyone is able to drink it, it can also be used to make ice tea.
I would give this 4 stars, since everyone drinks it.
White Chai Tea
Made with white tea, so less caffeine so I drink it all day and night. The taste is milder than a black chai tea, but I've been let down by decaffeinated black teas. This allows me to drink chai tea all day, and not worry about too much caffeine.
I would give this 5 stars.
As a note, Amazon sometimes has these 1000 bag boxes on Warehouse Deals, which is where I ordered both varities.
I used to be a loose leaf tea guy, but I don't have the time for preparation. Stash delivers a great taste consistently.
Would recommend to any Stash tea fan looking to enjoy their tea at a great price.
