An everyday romance with a little excitement of the scary kind. :) It tells the story of Daphne, a business woman with a nasty breakup with her X, feels the need to move away from for a while. As well as the pressures of running her shared business. On a whim she decides to take a punt on a trip to Martinique. While there she finds what she thinks to be a private secluded beach, then is surprised by this sexy as sin male, naked walking from the waves after his swim.
Said male ;) is Wolfe LaCasse, along with his brother Foxxe, they run several Restaurants. After a few mornings of spying on Wolfe, he introduces himself and their friendship grows with what she feels initially may be a one night stand. But both are drawn to each other and find in each other what each desires. Each still hesitant, given their own pasts, but neither can stop seeing the other.
As time passes, many events occur, that could at times divide the couple. Daphne eventually heads home early, after a sand proposal she feels confused by, with business concerns State side. I was glad she arrived back before Wolfe could catch his plane; that did have me on a edge a bit! :) There is even a nasty vindictive X that appears and threatens Daphne, and more!
The couple do get their HEA though and now I need to read the next book and see that Foxxe also gets his. :) Thoroughly enjoyed it, reading in one sitting, with only the cat causing a few stops. :)
I am once again loving this author's writing! She created a realistic life and love story that will tug at your heart strings and cheer Wolfe on in his battle to win her heart! The HEA is honest, sweet, and believable. You will enjoy this romantic yet steamy romance!

Daphne is spinning from a bad breakup and from the unexciting life she has been leading. She decides to leave Connecticut for an extended vacation in Martinique.
Wolfe lives on the island of Martinique where he manages the family restaurants with his twin brother Foxx. Lately he's found work more fulfilling than a social life.
While Daphne is out on the beach her first day on the island she watches the epitome of male perfection rise out of the water naked and walk up the beach. Breathless she hides and decides she has no choice but to come back the next day. Wolf is surprised to see someone on his private beach, but he decides to wait to see what happens....
This was a sexy, passion filled story. Daphne and Wolf had their share of things to overcome and it was a great read seeing how they got their HEA. From a crazy ex, misguided and meddling family, kidnapping, and distance nothing could keep these two apart. The main characters are fully developed, rich and full of life and passion. The secondary characters are colorful and fun to read. The descriptions of the island and the food take you there. The only drawback for me was even though the descriptions of the foods and drinks were well written and I could easily imagine be them, at times I felt it drew away from the story and the characters because there were so many instances you are given the whole run down of the characters food and drink, down to each and every drink consumed. That being said, it may not bother other readers, this is just a personal opinion. But overall I really enjoyed this book and if you are looking for well written, sexy passion that will have you getting hot then this one is a sure winner!
Received a copy for an honest review.
Then there’s Wolfe, the gorgeous man who emerges from his ocean swim on the secluded beach Daphne visits each day. Their sexual magnetism was crazy hot to watch and then how they worked to create a relationship out of their insta-lust. Seeing their conflicting thoughts inside their heads as their feelings develop was a treat. Wolfe has good reasons he’s leery of relationships with women—he’s been burned in the past. Watching Daphne break through his walls is fabulous. But then there’s Daphne, who’s got her own baggage, not to mention the fact that she only ever intended her stay on Martinique to be a vacation stop. Can these two from such different worlds not only find their way to each other across an ocean but permanently into one another’s hearts?
Daphne has experienced a rough break up and decides to take a much needed vacation to the island Martinique. While there she sees a man swimming in the water and completely forgets her misery from her ex. Being leary after being hurt one too many times, she doesn't want to spring into a relationship even though her heart is telling her differently.
I will admit, when I first started this book I thought Daphne was kind of whiny and pathetic and it was going to be a very long book. That quickly changed though when the character building began. This book is a romantic story that was very realistic. Daphne is a very strong willed woman with a determination in her career that you can admire. The characters were relatable and extremely well described. The book has a few twists and turns that keep your attention and keep you guessing. I really enjoyed it.
