States Of Terror Volume 3 focuses on the many legends of ghosts and creatures from across the US. The stories in this collection has horrors that I recognized (Bloody Mary, Champ, The Montauk Monster) as well as some that I didn't, but will remember (the Menehune, The Ear-Eater of Jasper County). Some of my favorites were The Best Chicken In Jasper County, I dare you to read this one without laughing. Tropical Paradise Lost will send delicious shivers down your spine. Revised Countermeasures shows what can happen when you mess with Mother Nature. Bloody Mary made me glad she never answered when I was a kid. As with most anthologies, not every story was a winner but most of them were full of creepy goodness. The illustrations that accompany the tales are a fantastic addition to this fun book. Recommended for fans of cryptids, creatures, and ghostly gatherings. A fast and fun 4 star read.
