About the Author
About the Author: Paul Sofranko sobered up on May 22, 2002. Afterwards, he decided that while a 12 Step Program may be effective and very useful for some, he needed something more. Therefore he explored the religion of his childhood and returned to the Catholic Church, from which he had been away for nearly 15 years. He’s been happy with his decision ever since Connect with Me Online: I blog at: www.SoberCatholic.com About the Photographer: Rose Sofranko is happily married to this book’s author, and is also an artist and photographer. Her portfolio may be found at: www.Artist4God.net

The first page of each Station is a brief prayer (familiar to Catholics who practice the Stations in Lent) followed by a brief meditation on that Station's theme. The photographs are from Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Hamburg, NY, USA, and were taken by Paul's wife, Rose Sofranko.
This book would make an inexpensive but valuable gift for someone you know who is going through this type of struggle. It is not "preachy" but realistic with common sense insights about recognition of the problem, relating it to Christ's suffering as He carried His cross, and strategies for overcoming the addiction/habit.
