Editorial Reviews

Review

The book seems to be unique of its kind ... a very important book, which should be read and reread several times. Each time the reader may detect new avenues. Mathematical Reviews The book can be recommended to teachers and students who are interested in philosophical principles of statistics and in the history of probability and statistics. EMS This monograph can be warmly recommended to advanced research workers, statisticians as well as philosophers interested in statistical induction.
