I waited a while before reviewing this pan because I wanted to test its versatility. It is fantastic. It distributes heat evenly, whether on the stove or in the oven. It creates beautiful markings on non-scrambled foods (I easily prepared a show-stopping spanish tortilla in this pan) and, similarly, on browning meats. Meanwhile, it does a great job sautéing, particularly if you want to start with lighter vegetables like garlic to infuse flavors without burning everything like a cheap pan does. It is not really dishwasher safe, but it cleans easier than any cast iron pan I have ever had. Moreover, while the ads emphasize that it is "pre-seasoned" (which it is), you can still season it if you prefer. Basically, this pan gives you all the options you will need for stellar cooking. I should also mention that it looks amazing and its heavy weight feels great in your hand. My only minor complaints are that the sticker on the bottom was a royal pain to remove and the handle gets quite hot because it is so conductive.
even though it suppose to be non-stick. I am kind of disappointed that I spent a lot of money and not happy with it.
Great for burgers, searing, and yes, eggs too!
