She also mentions that her husband is an attorney in Scottsdale, AZ. That's not my reality. Nor is it the reality of any of the other moms I worked with. Most of the working moms I know live simple lives, are loving and loyal to their families, selfless and frugal - not selfish and materialistic as she implies.
I am a stay-at-home mom now, but only after 10 years of seeking God and following his guidance step-by-step. I feel compassion for any mother - single, widowed, or (like my mom when I was growing up) the working poor -who reads this book. Instead of uniting Christian moms in our common love for Christ and our families, this book divides.
