Each page basically has a little game/task/exercise that incorporates creativity, drawing, writing, etc. It's good fun!
I've liked this guy's work since finding Newspaper Blackout, but then went complete fan-boy when Steal Like an Artist: 10 Things Nobody Told You About Being Creative and Show Your Work!: 10 Ways to Share Your Creativity and Get Discovered were released. This journal is the perfect complement to the work that came before and does a wonderful job of immersing you in the process. Forcing you into the role of participant rather than observer. You only get the full value from this book by putting the ideas into action from its predecessors. The perfect gift would be a bundling this book with Steal Like and Artist and Show Your Work (and a few of these...Sharpie Fine Point Black Pens (1742663).
