I would agree with one of the other reviewers who suggested we really know how the story ultimately will end, but it's a fun ride getting there. I enjoyed this book and although thrillers are not my favorite genre, Mr. MacRae has my attention and I will read more of his stuff. I recommend this one!
The book is fast paced, with persecution and fight sequences with a movie-like flair. It has several twists and turns, and it is impossible to get bored.
Cons: the bad guys are just painted with thick strokes, and a bit of a stereotype. But it is not a problem.
In short: a fun read. Recommended.
