Book 2 picks up right where book 1 left off. You follow Rose and Jagger in their journey to locate Jagger's brother Dallas, who has essentially been kidnapped by his foster parent. It is a well thought out story with a few twists. I did not always agree with Rose's thoughts about Jagger (specifically, I didn't like that she offered to help him then whines about how much it costs her and how he isn't funding any of it...but the whole reason she offered in the first place was because she knew he didn't have the funds), but I recognize where those thoughts originate from. You see the characters' affections for each other blossom, and there are several steamy scenes. It has a satisfactory ending and wraps up loose ends.
Overall, a nice, short, interesting read with good plot and character development. I read this in one sitting.
Jagger has just been released from prison and all he wants is to get his brother, Dallas from his foster home. Now that Jagger is out of prison, he is now Dallas' legal guardian. When he and Rose arrive at the house of Dallas' foster mother, Mrs. Radcliff, they discover that they are no longer there. After doing some investigating Jagger and Rose discover that Dallas had been taken to Montana.
Will Jagger and Rose be able to catch up to Dallas and Mrs. Radcliff before anything happens to Dallas? Will they be able to figure out how Dallas' birth mom is involved in this mess? Will they get Dallas back? Read Stealing Dallas and find out!
