Monica Murphy has written a fantastic trilogy –known as Fowler Sisters- and this is book #2 which is Rose’s book called Stealing Rose.
Rose Fowler is the youngest of the family, at twenty-two, Rose if feeling a little lost in the mix. She feels unappreciated, unloved and undervalued. In Cannes for the debut of her family documentary, Fleur Cosmetics, her world is about to be titled on is axis when a tall stranger appears and then just as quickly disappears.

Caden is at the festival to steal the expensive one of a kind necklace that is on Rose’s neck but the allure of her beauty and the easy way when they talk has Caden making him double guess himself. And after one night with a wild Rose has Caden so hooked and his being in Cannes wasn’t a mistake; his encounter with Rose wasn’t one of chance- it was all set up. But the sparks he felt were real and when they run into each other in London, now the chase is on and has a whole new purpose between them.

Rose is deciding what she wants to do with her life; she knows one thing is clear; she wants Caden. She can’t deny the way her body reacts to his and how his dirty words turn her on like no other. For the first time, Rose is being reckless and putting her own wants and desires first.
The start of the book is somewhat slow; that did happen in book 1 so I think this may be how the series is. It gives the reader a chance to see how the sisters are and give us background in the characters before the book amps up and starts going full pace. I like the pace and I like how we, as the reader, gets to see all the players in essence and know what is going on.

caden is one of those men who appreciates a woman with an appetite, "she drank at least three beers, maybe four, and she consumed the bloodiest steak I've seen in a long-a** time, like she was one of the guys. It was sexy as eff." Caden is one of those men that like to try and get a rise out of their woman, "you don't usually wear panties," he drawls, and I want to punch him. Or kiss him. Take your pick." What I loved most about him was how wild that boy got in the bedroom, "marking me like some sort of primitive beast, it had been all sorts of hot. "I, uh, got a little carried away there for a moment," he admits, his gaze lifting to meet mine." Although I liked this book Rose and Caden had nothing on Violet and Ryder. I can't wait to see who's going to tame Lily

Rose Fowler is the youngest of the three Fowler sisters, whose family legacy is the Fleur Cosmetics business empire. As the youngest Fowler sister, Rose struggles to find her place within Fleur Cosmetics. No one takes Rose’s efforts within the company seriously—least of all, her father. Rose is treated as merely a “figure-head” and not a valued, integral part of the company like her sister, Violet.

With the unwelcomed presence & impending promotion of her nemesis and future step-mother, Pillar, Rose feels even more oppressed than ever. A hasty decision to resign from the company has Rose fleeing to her sister Violet’s side in London, in search of a much desired escape from her life. Not long after arriving in London, Rose finds the escape she’s been searching for in the arms of the mysterious Caden Kingsley.

Unbeknownst to Rose, Caden is a thief and con man, interested in stealing the highly-coveted “Poppy necklace” that is currently in Rose’s possession. But as Caden’s time with Rose goes from days to weeks, he finds himself falling hard & fast for the beguiling Rose Fowler--leaving him not only confused about his feelings but also questioning whether it’s the necklace or Rose that Caden truly desires.

The heated affair between Rose & Caden eventually evolves into something more, leaving them both wondering if their “relationship” could possibly survive outside the self-imposed sex bubble that they had locked themselves within. Although Caden wants nothing more than to tell Rose the truth, he fears that she'll never be able to forgive him. Is it even possible for Rose to look past his thieving ways and see the man he wants to become?

Rose is the youngest of the Fowler sister. The one they keep everything from. She's Violet's baby even though Violet's just a few years older than her. Violet feels the need to take care of Rose even though Rose is an adult. Violet gives her advice, wether it's asked for it not.

Rose meets Caden at a party and sparks fly. There's an immediate attraction between the two. Caden brings out another side to Rose. A side that's carefree and young. She's twenty two but had too many responsibilities and works too much. Now that Pilar has joined Fouler things have changed and Rose is not sure about staying at her father's cosmetic company. She no longer enjoys things the way she use to. Once she meets Caden, it's like he's what she had been waiting for to really start living her life. He's the man that makes her things she's never felt before.

Rose has found out a secret about her mother and that grabbed me from the very beginning. I hate that Violet knows it and kept it from Rose. Plus Violet needs to really think before she opens her mouth and says anything to her little sister. I really wanted to slap Violet a few times in this book. All Violet seems to want is for Rose to stay on board the company and date someone she approves of.

I was happy to see Rose do what she wants and explores things with Caden. She and Caden have things in common. Caden is a thief who takes from the extremely wealthy for personal reasons. It doesn't make it right but that's how he justifies what he does. He gets with Rose for the wrong reason but things change for the both of them.

The letter Rose finds made me cry from beginning to end and a few pages after that. It was so heart felt and the most honest letter. I loved it.
