Second, the hanger is a terrible design. The clips slip back and forth and together, so you can't keep your clothes held steady while you are steaming them. I tied two fasteners to either side of each clip to keep this from happening. Also, the clips don't hold onto clothes very well as they are made of slippery plastic and don't grab on. It's very frustrating to be steaming a garment only to have it fall off onto the floor.
Third, my floors are hardwood, so this thing rolls all over the place. There is no way to lock the wheels and when you are using it, it moves around. I've used my shoes to create a corral for it.
Overall, very disappointed in this product. I am buying a hand held steamer to replace it. I love steaming my clothes, I haven't picked up an iron since I bought this!
The problem with this one, you get a decent amount of steam for like 45 seconds followed by barely anything for a minute. Aggro. I love a good steamer, but steaming in waves pretty much doubles the time it takes to finish a garment. Frustrating.
Love the clips and hanger though.
**Update** I was hoping that the machine would become better as it is "broken in" but its still just pitiful. Better than nothing... but not much.
90 Minutes of Continuous Steam - This does not seem to be true but I've managed to time it so that it heats up as I rotate my clothes.
Smart Auto Off - Works
Ready in 45 Seconds - Does start up quickly, never timed, no complains
Telescopic Hanger Pole - This is helpful for cleanup and hide into a corner after use. Currently useless since I do not use the hanger.
Easy Folding Hanger System - This collapses too easily. Shirts will just fall if tugged in a certain way.
Premium Fabric Hose - The hose does get really warm but does not burn, so works for me. It may be too warm for children.
Warranty - Nothing broken to test this.
Dual Clip System - Useless to me. It does not hold tight enough to steam the main section, does not help in the level of the clips, and then is in the way when steam around the clip. Also the clip is not strong enough to keep the clothes tight enough to prevent it from swiveling. I had an easier time without the clips at all (that was before I moved to just using a table).
Extra-Large Removable Water Tank - Holds way more than enough water. Easy to fill and put onto unit.
Multi-Use - This is very useful. I've used for couch and pillow.
FREE Accessories - I use the large ring but is limited in range so you cannot reach the middle of a shirt. I do not know how to use the brush. The mitt does not completely prevent burning.
Overall, I still use it. I would like the hanger to not move. It is also too close to the pole so makes it difficult to steam around the pole. The hose is very stiff so prevents the nozzle from sitting well on top of the pole. Clips can use little teeth to hold onto the clothes. They also need to be wider apart for me. It can also use some sort of device to stretch out the sleeves of a shirt.
