The sound is good
There comfortable if you have the right sized head
The only problem is the removable mic which already stopped working in less than a month
I did remove the mic once so it wasn't stick out but then after I did that it was working for like 2 day and then decided to not work.
Top reviews from other countries
+ Extremely lightweight
+ Very comfortable for multiple hours at a time
+ Great balanced neutral sound signature
+ Above average soundstage for a closed-back headphone
+ Very good imaging and separation
+ Volume and mic mute on left earcup, good as it doesn't add unnecessary weight to the cable
+ Build quality feels solid, nothing seems cheap or prone to breaking
+ Compatible out of the box with any device that accepts 3.5mm output
+ Stylish understated looks, could easily wear these out and about with no issues
+ Exceptional microphone recording quality
+ Detachable microphone
- Cable is springy and retains kinks from packaging, it is however lightweight and thin, so once straightened its great
- Ears will touch the inside of the earphones when worn, doesn't bother me but will do for others
- Non-removable cable
- Low clamping force which is good, but leads to headphones not being very stable when worn
- Doesn't isolate external noise very well
The sound quality is excellent. Great for gaming and for listening to music.
They look and feel like they are worth more than the price.
Great comfort levels and noise reduction.
Detachable mic makes it better if listening to music.
The microphone is terrible. It's not even passible as a ok mic. I've been told that it sounds like I'm stuck down a well or I'm whispering from the other side of a concert hall.
I cannot fault steel series support though. They have sent me replacements promptly and have been really enthused with helping.
Altering settings on windows makes no difference. Turning up mic boost makes no difference.
Fundamentally the mic is simply not good enough.
I perosonally like the sound quality good balance between bass, treble and clarity. The headset is very comfortable
The headset is extreme comfortable no issues with the headband and earcups. The earcups i believe are breathable so it doesn't leave your ears too toasty after long hours for gaming.
No complaints from me it's been a perfect product so far.
One small thing on my headset is that the right adjustment makes that adjustment click when you extend the headphone band and the left one doesn't but it still works exactly the same.
I bought this mostly because my previous headset was getting worn out and u wanted to upgrade to a better one. Unfortunately I've had to go back to the worn out cheaper headset which at least works with the docking station.
My advice is to stay away from this headset if you plan to use it with any kind of docking station, which is a shame as the audio quality isn't terrible.
