NOTE: THIS MODEL DOES NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS. It does say iOS / Mac only on this page, but it can't be said enough. When I originally purchased it, I didn't realize it was OS-specific (I actually purchased it in a BestBuy on a whim). Many controllers these days will work on any platform (at least as far as computers are concerned), but this one will not. Be aware that there is a different SteelSeries model for Android / Windows. As of yet I have not found any custom drivers for Windows (6/26/2016).Aside from that, this is a great controller. It feels very solid in your hands. I actually like that the batteries are not rechargeable, it is one less thing for me to plug in. You can, of course, use your own NiMhs. I have not had issues with pairing, it works fine on both my iPhone 6+ and iPad Air 2. I've played a good amount of Terraria on the iPad and this is absolutely perfect for that!! As long as you don't need to use this on a computer, I highly recommend it for its very specific target hardware.Compared to the smaller SteelSeries Stratus (included in pictures for comparison), I have had less issues and a more enjoyable gaming experience.

Aside from that, this is a great controller. It feels very solid in your hands. I actually like that the batteries are not rechargeable, it is one less thing for me to plug in. You can, of course, use your own NiMhs. I have not had issues with pairing, it works fine on both my iPhone 6+ and iPad Air 2. I've played a good amount of Terraria on the iPad and this is absolutely perfect for that!! As long as you don't need to use this on a computer, I highly recommend it for its very specific target hardware.
Compared to the smaller SteelSeries Stratus (included in pictures for comparison), I have had less issues and a more enjoyable gaming experience.

While the Nimbus controller is designed to work on Mac OS X, very few game developers build in MFi controller support for Mac.
