i love this! it was bigger than expected. its pretty durable. my daughter is 3 years old and shes tall for her age an its a perfect size! i wouldent recomend it for realy rouph play kids because it is only plastic. for example i have a friend with 4 boys and their very hyper and very strong an would break this thing in a week. but for 1 or 2 kids i think this is great! lots of space for playfood and it was realy easy to put togeather!

Santa brought this kitchen for my 3.5 yo daughter. Thankfully I read reviews on this and other Step 2 kitchens and was well aware that the dishes weren't going to fit into the cabinets and told my husband about the non-existent screw holes and the likelihood of missing pieces before he started putting it together. As expected, there were only indentations for screws but he didn't have a problem putting it together using his power screwdriver. There was one key piece missing-- the burner that makes the cooking noises-- but my call to customer service on Christmas Eve day was answered promptly and the customer service rep was apologetic and extremely helpful. The missing burner arrived as promised on 12/27/2013. As this was THE gift from Santa, we improvised and left a note from Santa saying that he left a part at the North Pole and that Mrs Claus was going to mail it. All in all, DD loves this kitchen and I love its compact size and reasonable price (I purchased it when it went on sale at Kohls).

Bought this quite some time ago, but it's great! My then two yr. old loved it when we first bought it, and he is now 3 and still loves it. Few cons: You can not place the plates flat in the cabinets, they are to small. The coffee pot rim/handle can be pulled off, as the boys do this often, however, this has lasted well with my 3 yr. old son and 4 yr. old grandson. Would recommend.

My daughter received this for Christmas, and absolutely adores it! I love that its compact enough for her playroom, but still keeps her busy. She loves "cooking" on the sound-producing burner and "eating" with her utensils. We also bought her the Step2 shopping cart, so she puts all her food away in the fridge and cabinets after shopping around her playroom. Assembly wasn't too difficult, just slightly annoying that nothing was pre-drilled. Oh, and all the parts were in the package (nothing missing, yay!). All in all, I highly recommend this kitchen. Great product and great quality!

Have a 1 1/2 year old grandson and a 2 1/2 year old granddaughter, and they both love this.

Great accouterments--it even has a phone. Lots of utensils. Coolest feature is a (2 AA battery operated) burner which makes sizzling sound when fry pan is placed upon it and boiling sound when kettle is placed upon it.

Easy to construct--goes together w/ ~dozen screws. Directions indicate a Phillips head screwdriver is needed for construction; I'd suggest two--a larger one for most of the items and a smaller one for the aforementioned burner.

Only complaint I have is that faucet was somewhat difficult to insert.

Nevertheless, once this item was put together, grandchildren couldn't leave it alone.
