This sandbox may be "Crabbie," but toddlers are nothing but cheerful when they climb in for hours of outdoor fun.
Kids won't get pinched in this plastic sandbox, even though it's designed to look like a big crab. Its somewhat rounded shape takes up a space that measures 4 by 4 feet (and the inside space measures just over 3 by 3 feet), and it holds up to 300 pounds of play sand. Both the box and the matching sculpted lid (or shell) are molded from single pieces of red plastic. At the front, the big tucked-in claws frame two crabbily prominent white eyes. There's no drain hole, so be sure to put on that shell when it rains. --Richard FarrSee all Product description

-holds a good amount of sand. We only put in half of the maximum amount of sand and it's plenty.
-is small enough to not take up much space on our townhouse patio yet large enough for multiple kids to use.
-The lid is nice to keep the neighborhood cats from using our crabby sandbox as a litter box.
-The price is good compared to other smaller sandboxes.
- It's adorable.
- it doesn't seem as durable as my sons old Crabbie sandbox. One of the corner seats dented on the first day.
- The "seats" aren't strong enough or large enough for anyone in my family except my three-year-old.
Overall I definitely recommend this sandbox.
