This set looks good and will hopefully be used for many years. Now that it's up, my son is living it. For an American company, though, I was surprised how poor the instructions were. Think of IKEA. Almost no words. I ran into a problem when installing the swing bar in step 7 that wasn't realized until step 25. (That bar needs to have a certain side up, and of course mine was 180 degrees off). I had to back out all those steps and start again. That cost me about an hour.Now that it's together it's holding up well. The only complaint now is that it's bizarre that Step2 has so many different shades of colors that don't match along their product lines. For instance, the slide is green. I bought a toddler swing from the same company that is also green, but an unmatching shade. I also bought a picnic table from Step2 which has a THIRD shade of green that matches neither of the other two.I suppose if I'm filling my backyard with giant plastic furniture, I shouldn't be worried about making a fashion statement, but I'd like it to look as good as possible.All of this still adds to 4 stars because my son doesn't care about any of these things. He just enjoys playing on it ... and that's the point.

Great playset, Stake down Modification

Amazing playset. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Watch the assembly videos on the Step2 website. Put it together in about 2 hours. Took longer than I thought due to loose tolerances in manufacturing. Had to drive some bolts with a hammer. Another tip, the rebar stakes that comes with it don't hold the swing set for long. My solution: helical dog stakes. Took a hacksaw and cut off the ring where you attach a dog lead and run it through the mounting holes where the original stake would go. See pictures. Rock solid after this modification. Our 3 year old loves this playset.

Little man loves it!

We really wanted to get our son a swing set and this one is PERFECT! Our son absolutely loves the swing and has become a pro at climbing up the slide. Folks, assembling it SUCKED! That being said, I did it by myself and it took an total of 3.5 hours. The instructions are kids of worthless...would’ve been helpful to have a description in addition to the pictures, but at least I was prepared for that from reading previous reviews. Hey haven’t secured it to the ground yet, but I won’t be using the polls it came with. All in all, this was a good purchase for our 22 month old and it feels like it will last for a few years. If you’re on the fence, I say go for it!

Now that it's together it's holding up well. The only complaint now is that it's bizarre that Step2 has so many different shades of colors that don't match along their product lines. For instance, the slide is green. I bought a toddler swing from the same company that is also green, but an unmatching shade. I also bought a picnic table from Step2 which has a THIRD shade of green that matches neither of the other two.
I suppose if I'm filling my backyard with giant plastic furniture, I shouldn't be worried about making a fashion statement, but I'd like it to look as good as possible.
All of this still adds to 4 stars because my son doesn't care about any of these things. He just enjoys playing on it ... and that's the point.
