Great concept and works well. One thing that I didn't notice until I got it was that children were not supposed to ride in it and that was why I had bought it. I wish that had been more prominent in the description of the product but ultimately it was my fault for not noticing that.

It says not to, but we put our preschooler in the trailer and our toddler twins in the wagon and go for walks. We get comments all the time about our "train". Our kids simply love it.

Listen, the trailer is VERY difficult to put on and off. I can hardly do it.

Easy to put together. Took a little muscle to attach to the wagon, but it's on firmly and has no chance of slipping off, which is necessary because we cart our two-year-old in it (even though it's technically not meant for kids, she fits in there just fine - the sides are high enough to keep her safe). Our other two preschoolers ride in the wagon. This was a great find - recommended to me initially by another mom!

We really like the wagon trailer. As a mother of b/g 22 month twins, it gets used alot. We even take it to Menards and Home Depot. They love to be in their wagon and the trailer allows me to take them by myself. I just put my purse and diaper bag or toys in the trailer and off we go.

One thing. The directions to attaching this thing SUCK!! My husband and I struggled to get it together. We ended up throwing the directions away and figuring it out on our own. I am not going to lie we cussed trying to get that thing together!

We were recently given a Step 2 Wagon and we love it because it allows us to cart two small children and all their toys, etc. but when I saw this trailer existed I knew we had to have it as a "Train" and also to carry more with us (Who doesn't want to carry more stuff because kids don't have enough, right?!?). There are two things you must know about this trailer: 1) It has a max weight of 40 pounds but is NOT meant to carry kids. There is nowhere for them to sit except in the bottom which isn't comfortable unlike the wagon that has two "Seats." 2) We were not able to successfully get the hitch in to the "Groove Circle" of the wagon, but it works find just being in the long part of it. Tough to describe if you can't see the hitch. Because there are no kids in the back, it wouldn't be the end of the world if it came unhitched but obviously not ideal. We have been using it every day for a week and have been fine.

Neighbors love seeing the two kids and all our toys cruising around and our kids ages 2.5 and 1 love it. Great for summer and it can hold quite a lot of stuff. You could get a duffel bag or two if you wanted to and then it could hold even more. Easy to clean but if you install the trailer right-it won't come off easily for sure. Also note that cornering is not easy with this on because it does not rotate very much. You will have to maneauver in tight spaces. Good build quality and a good value for the money if you are looking for a way to extend your wagon. Recommended if you understand the limitations.

i really wanted to have this product, but had to return it as it is not compatible with my wagon. Be aware, it looks awesome but only works with one time of wagon. *sigh* Best to call Step2 before hand and figure out if yours is one of those. An ounce of prevention and all that. Amazon did a great job with the return. I love Amazon!

So, we have 16 month triplets. We were given an older version of the Step 2 Choo-Choo wagon so there are 3 carts. We figured it would be nice to not have to carry a diaper bag, small, cooler, blanket, etc...We ordered this wagon and after the first use we love it. Makes walks, trips to the park so nice. Fits a good amount of items inside. My husband pulls the Choo Choo wagon with trailer (with the trailer attached you can feel the weight a little more). I could do it but it gives mom a nice break! Yes, it is green, but the other carts are purple, light green and orange. The colors match well. The kids love it and they are belted in which is nice. It is long and you will definitely get noticed by adults and kids! The trailer hitch is a little loose but we have not had any problems. Nothing has come undone. I recommend this POM's or parents with small children close in age.

This is a fabulous idea. However, when you're using it, the hitch comes undone and you lose the trailer. As you make turns or back up, it loosens the screw. If they could fix that, or you can deal with reattaching several times during your outing, then it would get a few more stars.
