From School Library Journal
Grade 6-9–These titles profile two men from vastly different eras. Hawking is a present-day physicist who challenges modern man's concepts of the universe. Boyle lived in the 17th century and was a pioneer in chemistry. Both books are sprinkled with black-and-white photos and sketches. The type size is large and the tone of the texts is conversational. The vocabulary tends to be simple and any scientific terms presented are in the glossary. Serviceable titles for reports.–Laura Younkin, Ballard High School, Louisville, KY
