Great splitter/adapter for many uses

This product is excellent for separating multiple phone lines for various purposes. For example, I have a two-line phone system. I use an automated attendant for line one but do not use the attendant for line 2 my personal line. This adapter plugs into the wall and then has three outputs: line 1 alone, line 2 alone, and lines 1 and 2 combined together. Line one goes to the attendant (and then to the phone) whereas line two goes directly to the phone/voicemail, while lines 1 and 2 together goes to a fax machine where I might receive or send a fax from either line. All works perfectly with this handy and inexpensive adapter.

Loose Connectors - Phone Wires Fall Out

This splitter is poorly made. Phone wires do not fit in snugly and it is easy for them to fall out. I had a previous line splitter that had much better fits for the phone wires. I had bought two of these splitters to have one as a spare, and neither one works well. Do not buy this product.

THIS IS NOT A PHONE LINE SPLITTER.

If what you want is to plug in a phone and a fax machine to the same phone line. This is not for you.

This is very useful for situations where dual lines are on one cable. For those who don't know, a regular phone jack can actually carry multiple lines in one cable. I think based on wires (conductors) I think a regular lan wire can host 4 phone lines. Each phone line just needs two wires (conductors).

This device allows you to take a phone line that was wired for 2 phone lines in one connector and again split those out to 2 separate connectors.

You can also take 2 phone lines and shunt them down 1 cable, ONLY IF the cable actually has at least 4 conductors hooked up already.

I used it to bring 2 lines down 1 cable and it works a treat.

PS: You could I guess pretend its a splitter if you connected the devices to LIne 1+2 port and also to the Line 1 port...hehehehe.

This product is terrible. It fits loosely, and constantly is causing my spouse and I to drop our work calls. We both work from home and have 2 separate work lines this does not help. Had to purchase a completely different one!

It does the job of connecting my line 1 and line 2 to give me a single line out to my 2 line phone. However...it falls apart mid-body constantly when you've weighted down the plugs with 3 wires. I've had to tape the body together.
