From the Manufacturer

here comes a time in every munchkin's career when he's taken on more than he can handle, bitten off more than he can chew, gotten in over his head. It's time for - the Narrow S Cape. With 112 cards to enhance your Super Munchkin game, The Narrow S Cape is much more than just this season's favorite fashion accessory! It teems with new villains like the contemptible Cheese Wiz, Gothzilla (with earthquake-causing platform boot action!), and the Ratwoman. And lest you feel overwhelmed by villainy, this Expansion also features new items, new Powers and a new Class: the Brain! Wield the Slide Rule and Power Ring against Sister Blister! Tackle Tackyman with the Trampoline! Endure the Two-Hour Monolog because you were Raised By Armadillos!

The Munchkin crowd is at it again with a series of silly superheroes, crazy villians and odd powers to wind your head around.

The system is much like Munchkin Bites with the powers based on levels but other than that it is the same basic premise that makes the other munchkin games fun.

It is not my favorite of the batch (Munchkin-Fu wins that honor) but it is well worth your time and money.

I am a huge fan of the Munchkin card games. I have played almost every deck at least once and my friends and I regularly play the game (usually once a week at least). So, when purchasing The Narrow S-Cape as a birthday gift for my friend, it only made sense to me to get him the expansion pack to (his already owned) Super Munchkin (Revised).

As with all versions of Munchkin, this deck shines. Great artwork, fun cards, and funny references to popular culture. Where the deck fails, however (and my reason for the three stars), is that this deck does not help balance out the original Super Munchkin like many of the other expansions do for their respective original decks. In particular, I was hoping to see quite a bit more stopping power as it is very possible for a player in Super Munchkin to become extremely powerful and run to level 10 quickly (AKA it feels as if it is weighted heavily towards the offensive). It would have been nice to see defensive Powers that could outweigh some of the offensive ones.

With that said, this game is still extremely fun, and I don't want to discourage you from buying it. But, if you're considering a purchase of Super Munchkin along with this expansion, I would recommend checking out decks like Munchkin Fu (Revised) or Munchkin Zombies.

I have 4 teenage boys and the neighborhood of friends that go with them, and they all love this game! It seems easy to pick up as there's always a new kid at the playing table. Some of the cards are boyishly offensive, but you could pull those ones.

I bought Super Munckin as my first set of Munchkin ever. I had played Munchkin, Munchkin Bites!, and Munchkin Fu. Having played the crap out of Super Munchkin, I was stoked to get the expansion. Narrow S-Cape definitely adds to the Super Hero theme of this set, I loved the Capes, brilliant idea!! However, I feel that playing this set with Super Munchkin leaves the player feeling like they are getting beat on an awful lot without facing a fair challenge. However, I also own Star Munchkin and Clown Wars, which is a very player-heavy set, where you end up fighting monsters who are 17 to your 93, not on epic rules, either. I like the challenge of this set with Super Munchkin, but to really make it great, you need Blender and Star Munchkin with it, it evens the playing field for the players without the need to constantly run away. Oh no! A level 16 Wimpy Thugs?! I run away!!! Great game, can't wait for Impossible!!

Steve Jackson is a genius. The cards are great- really funny too. My personal favorite is "Wardrobe Malfunction." It's a picture of a female superhero flying into the air and her top falls off.

The Power Rank Rules are kind of confusing at first, but they aren't too difficult to understand. All in all a great game!

This game is such a blast! I don't like it quite as much as the original Munchkin, but it has some added bonuses, such as sidekicks, and secret home bases. Also, like all the games and extensions, you can play them all together, which is hours of ridiculous fun.

Any of the Munchkin games are worth trying out. They are great games for large groups: family or friends. The game got to me quickly and still in its original plastic.

I got this for my brother who has a number of the Munchkin games. He loved it! He and his family have game nights often and play long into the night.
