I was very impressed with these shoes Steve Madden are worth it to me. I wore these shoes almost every day for a year and they held up well I would like to say cleaning them might have been a challenge for me I did start to get that yellowing around the white part of the shoe around 8 months into it and maybe it was the way I cleaned them so that’s on me otherwise a fantastic shoe..

I like to see a good shoe last around 12months or longer and these I purchase February 5th of 2022 it is January 20th 2023 and I’ll probably buy another pair around the same time this year for my birthday gift for myself.

I really enjoyed these shoes they’re comfortable and they lasted and I enjoyed my experience.

Waited several months to review this shoe to give it a fair assessment. First pair fit nice but the toe box has extra room at the top that creates a weird fold after normal movements ie bending down. All my other shoes are size 10 and my purchase was as well so this isn’t a fit problem. After a two months the adhesive that holds the sole to the rest of the material will breakdown and cause the fabric to pull out from the toe leaving you with feeling that your toe might pop out. There is very little to no foot support in these shoes. When you walk on a small pebble or shift in a sidewalk you will feel it. The material the sole is made of broke down fast too.

I bought a second pair because I thought I was too rough on the first somehow and limited my time using them hoping to avoid the above listed issues. After 2-3 months it didn’t seem to matter. Toe box gap, folding, fabric pulling apart, rapidly deteriorating sole and adhesive. Two shoes with the same problem. I work in Information Technology so I’m not overly active at work maybe 1-1.5 miles a day of walking. At home I have different shoes and gym shoes. I’m not putting a lot of stress on these things.

Overall assessment: they look good but will breakdown very fast and leave you open for a sharp object to puncture your shoe and your foot due to poor material. Not a good shoe.

Out of the box, they seem ok. Nice and clean. I have plenty of steve Madden shoes. Pattern doesn't look exact as pictured, but close enough. sole is actually some wierd velvet material, so get ready to fall on your ass somewhere. Its bizarre though. Its the thinnest shoe I've ever seen based on the absurd length. It is the longest and narrowest shoe I've ever had on. I would have ordered a half size, or even full size smaller had I known, but then the shoe would be even more narrow!! I don't know if anyone has a foot made for this shoe. Whats frustrating is I only order it because I had a pair of size 9 mens twice before from Steve Madden. A side by side comparison would show this newer model almost a half in longer than my other size 9 steve maddens. But its the narrow aspect. You might not notice right away, but the seams will burst after a few months. It being too long is one thing, but this width is crazy. Especially considering the difference between my 3 other pairs of steve madden. Such a shame. Will have to return.

I think these shoes are really great. They seem to be good quality and appear durable. The only problem I have is the leather tag on the heel of this shoe. If your pant hem falls below this tag, they will get caught on this, which you can feel when you walk. It's not a huge problem, but becomes a bit annoying after a while.
