OLD REVIEW: These “new” boots have clearly been worn a decent amount and cleaned heavily because the suede is already really nappy and has minor stains upon arrival. Very very small parts of suede are actually gone because of the rigorous cleaning and scuffs. The most noticeable part and the reason I’m returning these is the stain that someone buffed out. These boots are still very presentable and look pretty nice, but I didn’t pay for a hand me down. I paid for new(ish) boots. I get that you guys can’t just toss everything that isn’t brand new and I don’t expect an entirely new boots, but I will be sending these back to hopefully receive another pair that’s in better condition. The only reason I’m sending these back is the stain on the upper of the right boot. One other glaring problem is that the tongue pokes out really far making it difficult to have the nice classic jean over the boot look that Chelsea boots give. Everything else was tolerable. I’d love to give these another go.
