This lift top is worth ever penny!!

This is a fabulous lift top coffee table. I have had mine for two years now and it's still like new. It's well made, easy care, and very good looking. The edges are rounded so there is no danger of running into a sharp edge, it is easy to raise and lower the top, but not so easy you have to worry about it lowering too fast, and it's easy care, just some spray furniture polish and a soft rag. The finish is a lot more durable than I thought it would be. After two years, no water marks (though most of the time we use coasters to be safe), and just two tiny shallow scratches, hardly viewable. We make a point not to sit on it, as I'm told lift tops come apart easy. This table is very sturdy, very beautiful and affordable. It's a little more than the mdf lift tops, but so worth every extra penny. The lift top is so convenient as well. We use it for meals, use of our laptops, jigsaw puzzles, and paperwork. I highly recommend this coffee table if you're looking for sturdy, lasting, easy care, and beautiful.

I LOVE this table!! It arrived way before I expected. Box had a few tears but didn't affect the inside at all. Safely packaged and only one spot on the underside edge had a slight issue, which I applied a tiny bit of wood glue to. Took my son-in-law & daughter less than an hour to assemble as the lifting mechanism was already installed right out of the box! Very sturdy when the top is up. Normal leaning on it is stable. Fairly easy to move on my shag rug but stays in place when you lift the top. I am very happy with the table and the top design is pretty. Also has 2 slide out drawers.

One Heck of a Deal

I am redecorating my living room on a budget. I bought this table based on customer feed back and price. It was shipped promptly and arrived in undamaged condition. I received it just today, found it easy to assemble by myself, just eight bolts and four casters (if you choose to use them). The table is very attractive, sturdy and the lift top works flawlessly. A couple of drawers and a couple of compartments for storage. Packaging is the good news and the bad news. The good news is that it would be almost impossible to damage the table in transit, the bad news is that you have a ton of cardboard and styrofoam to dispose of. I prefer not to buy Chinese made goods, but at $230 this coffee table was too good to pass up.

Sturdy and not bad looking

This oak lift-top coffee table is okay, it's pretty solid and looks fine. The design is fairly clean, not super modern but not old-school either. It would probably look fine in 90% of people's living rooms or wherever.

Assembly was a little awkward but not difficult. I definitely recommend having 2 people to make things easier as some of the parts are a little unwieldy to move and position.

There's not as much storage space as I'd hoped but there's still plenty of room for all the remote controls and other bits and pieces of stuff that normally end up on coffee tables in most homes. (The photo kind of makes it look like there's one large storage area under the lid, but it's actually 2 smaller ones with no storage space in the middle.)

The lift-top works smoothly and sits snugly into place. The lifting function isn't as useful as I thought it might be, we don't use it often but it has come in handy a couple of times.

All in all this is a decent coffee table for $200.

I absolutely love this table. It is a perfect tray table to snack on while watching Tv. It is sturdy and stable. It looks fantastic has two storage drawers along with a lot of space underneath. Nothing not to like about this table. Was super easy to assemble. It was awkward to move and heavy when it arrived in the box so having someone to help you move it would be helpful. But you will be using it in less than 20 minutes from opening the box. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!! And just so you know I don’t do that often

This is one heavy/sturdy table. It took two of us to put together but assembly was not difficult. The hardest part was the top of the legs as the angle required we use the tool provided...which worked fine. We are just used to using our own bits that attach to our drill. The table is beautiful and the lift top mechanism is sound. We typically eat dinner in the man cave while watching TV and this table makes it so much nicer.

Fairly easy to put together, basically you just need to attach legs. But you need an extra set of hands.
Table is large, heavy and sturdy. Real wood, not particle board.
I did not use included wheels but put felt rounds under each leg as we don’t have a carpet under it.
Top lifts up fairly easy and stays up at any position.
Handy storage compartments under top, large shelf on lower level and 2 small drawers on each side.
Getting compliments on it. May be a tad larger than I was expecting but overall very satisfied with it.

The table is well built and sturdy but the finish is the worst finish I’ve ever seen on a piece of furniture. There were bumps in it and you can see runs plus two of the corners have no finish at all. No quality control what so ever and no pride in their workmanship that I can see. Perhaps this one was a Friday production when everyone was in a hurry to leave. As I stated it is well built and I’ll sand it down and put my own finish on it. The design and built deserves five stars but the appearance warrants only two stars.
